Heather. Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I like some Howard Stern, but most of that just annoyed me. Yeah, the "Billy Ray Armstrong" and useless speculation was annoying. I was surprised, because Howard always seemed like a genuine fan when he interviewed the band, and I do think he likes Green Day, but that's about all when it comes to sensitivity.
MrsBillieJoe95 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 my college's not so serious newspaper had a review of UNO! today. I personally think the best part of that was the "can't pronounce the letter 'h'" It's like a review straight out of Cracked! xD
Ritz Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Green Day By Wednesday, it will be too late to register in nearly half of the sates. So if you are not registered to vote for the November election - now is the time! Spread the word. It's simple, just go to www.rockthevote.com
Cob Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 That is the most inaccurate review I've read for that album. Actually scratch that, I was reading a review of it on a website (I can't remember where) but it was a user review, and the guy reviewing it said something like "The songs are disappointing guitar wise. There are no guitar solos on any of the songs." The whole time I was reading the review I thought to myself "this person hasn't actually heard the damn record!" and sure enough they did not.

There are no guitar solos?? There are plenty to go around!! You're right, he obviously didn't listen to. He's just a hater.
Gwen Stacy Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Cracked.com takes yet another cheap shot at Billie Joe, because why not make fun of someone's personal struggles? http://www.cracked.c...-talking-about/
Nemo. Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Cracked.com takes yet another cheap shot at Billie Joe, because why not make fun of someone's personal struggles? http://www.cracked.c...-talking-about/ newspapers like this are so damn funny.

Schlappy Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Cracked.com takes yet another cheap shot at Billie Joe, because why not make fun of someone's personal struggles? http://www.cracked.c...-talking-about/ at first i was just like oh whatever, here we go with the they arent punk thing again. so original and clever... oh well let them have it no one cares ... but then i read the caption under his photo "Although not as bad as detention at Guantanamo Bay, my heart goes out to anyone currently in Billie Joe Armstrong's rehab group. Stay strong, brothers." i will find you, and i will shank you
in the parking lot Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 This guy obviously doesn't have anything better to do with his life
Marrymebilliejoe Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Didn't see this posted... Howard Stern's discussion of Billie & iHeart Radio... pretty funny (Billie was cursing with a British accent ) youtube.com/watch?v=5QngEa0T2TI OH my goodness..that made me dislike Howard Stern than I already did T__T However, the Billie does tend to have a british accent at times..but then he did say at one point.. "I sound like an Englishman impersonating an American impersonating an Englishman." ^He really couldn't have said it more perfectly xD
AlexGulyan Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Jason as an official fourth member? Hmm. I honestly don't know how I feel about that. He's cool and all, but I really love the Green Day "Trio". Yeahhh, I'm with you on that one. Yes, he's listed in the album book and such, but I would consider him more the unofficial fourth member. He doesn't do the promo photos, interviews, etc. Idk, personally, the GD trio is the GD trio. His position in the band is a bit weird for now...

Whenever I think of GD I always think of the trio. Jason never comes to mind, but I can see him as being an unoffical fourth member.

Punctuation perhaps? : lol : (but without the spaces)

Punctuation perhaps? : lol : (but without the spaces) Sorry I waan't aware that I was writing a report for my job, and if you couldn't understand what it said because of a lack of period and some commas well sir that's not my problem.

I was just joking with you, but seriously I think most people prefer it if you use at least basic full stops (or periods as you call 'em) and full words rather than "ur" etc. just because there's so many people who don't have English as their first language and it makes more sense. Or maybe I'm just in a bad mood.

I openly admit I'm bad when it comes to typing correctly on non work or non important issues.
iScottie Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Let Yourself Go was just featured in that TV show "Go On".
Laurina Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Great little tv tidbit... just heard "Let Yourself Go" on the NBC series Go On (the new show starring Matthew Perry). Everyone in my household got excited and thankful for the ability to rewind live tv to hear it again
Slave To The Network Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Cracked.com takes yet another cheap shot at Billie Joe, because why not make fun of someone's personal struggles? http://www.cracked.c...-talking-about/ The author of this one doesn't surprise me. Gladstone hates Green Day! He always tries to stick in an insult in most of his columns. That's why I don't respect him. Don't know why Cracked has to be so hostile towards them. Green Day has done nothing to wrong them. There are plenty of hilariously terrible bands out there they could bash instead. It's not funny or cute, it's just pathetic and ignorant. Come on Cracked, suck it up and show some respect! I usually just brush it off when I see what new things they've written about Green Day, but it's getting really old now and I'm sick of it!
YvonneB Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Don't know if this is the right place to say it. But Green Day has been confirmed to Headline the sunday of Pinkpop festival in the Netherlands. It's the 16th of June 2013. here an article about it but it's in dutch http://www.limburger.nl/article/20121010/CULTUURENMEDIA01/121009150/1056
