gloria123 Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 I'd get that if it was one sided. I don't like the heart on the back. Front is sweet though i think the heart would be better for a woman's shirt you can always wear it with a vest or sweatshirt
DannyDirnt Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Hot Topic has a cool men's double sided Green Day shirt http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Guys/WhatsNew/Tees/MusicTees/Green+Day+Skull+Slim-Fit+T-Shirt-10023394.jsp That shirt is awesome! I liek both sides, but the back side isn't something that I would wear, although the front is awesome so yeah, I'd also buy it if it was one-sided.
Todd Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 i think the heart would be better for a woman's shirt you can always wear it with a vest or sweatshirt Yeah, but gray shirts are the only ones I feel comfortable wearing by themselves. I save my overshirts and jackets for colored shirts.
WhiteTim Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 So supposedly Mike Dirnt and Trè Cool will have a cameo in Achorman 2 movie

Green Day is in there http://mentalfloss.com/article/50547/11-songs-brought-people-out-comas The rational scientific part of my brain is thinking "this is just a lucky coincidence. Music can't physically bring people back from a coma." And the Green Day fan part of my brain is like "Hell, yeah! Ma boyz got the power of healin'!"

The Grohl Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 That is just ... amazing. Wow! I remember the Green Day so well. I heard the news and I was like "Green Day truly IS the best band ever!"
lizziebix Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I've read that coma patients (when they wake) remember conversations and music that's been played for them. So that Green Day helped someone is just plain awesome.

Olya Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Check out this video from Actions Realized giving you a more in depth look at the Green Day decks how they will be impacting the kids of the Oakland Children’s Hospital. Thanks for all the support, guys! http://www.actionsrealized.com
TheNimrod51 Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Not sure if this counts as green day news but it made me laugh non the less.
Heather. Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Not sure if this counts as green day news but it made me laugh non the less. How can you be unsure about this being Green Day news? Seems pretty straightforward Fall Out Boy news to me.
Lauren Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Not sure if this counts as green day news but it made me laugh non the less. This has nothing to do with Green Day. Post it in the Fall Out Boy thread.
desertrose Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Green Day, Calif. skateboard legend Jim Thiebaud partner to raise money for Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland Thiebaud’s company, Real Skateboards, is selling custom skateboards styled after Green Day’s album art. Mozzabillie Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 This may or may not be Green Day news but I was listening to Live 105 today and they said there was going to be a surprise band at BFD this Saturday, May 18, but of course they said we have to wait until then to find out who it is. I can't help but be curious if it is Green Day. I looked at their tour schedule and they aren't scheduled for any where on that date but that doesn't really mean anything. I don't want to get my hopes up and don't have a ticket for it. I hate the thought of being way out on the grass for one of their shows.

What is it and where is it?
DannyDirnt Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Not sure if this counts as green day news but it made me laugh non the less. Nothing to do with Green Day at all, but it is funny. I like FOB, but they aren't punk in the slightest and they've never been. They are like pop rock and sometimes too poppy for me. So... lol
jenni Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Could you give more details? "BFD" could mean anything. What is it and where is it? It's a festival. More info here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KITS#Concerts (especially on part "2 Concerts")
Lauren Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 It's a festival. More info here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KITS#Concerts (especially on part "2 Concerts") That person got the date wrong. They said May 18th when LIVE 105's website says May 19th. No wonder why nothing came up when I googled it. Anyway, I say go if you like the bands. If you're only going for Green Day, it's not worth it, because we won't know until the day of the show if they're actually playing. but if you like the other bands, go anyway, because even if it's not Green Day, you'll still have a good time.

I was looking it up last night on a site and I swore it said May 18 but obviously that was wishful thinking on my part. I am off on the 18th but working on the 19th and was thinking how convenient that was. I wasn't interested in any of the other bands. If Green Day does show up there, I would think it would be at night since that is when the "main event" band plays. (Hmmm, maybe since I'm off at night, I should hang around outside and listen...this is me thinking to myself as I'm typing right now!)
