Whatsinaname Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 All I can say is I have the chills and it is 90 degrees hot.
basKT_case90 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 WOW. Listening to the live recording from "Red 7" with the official lyrics to read over, everything makes soooooooooooooo much more sense now. I did notice that the bridge has changed a lot though. The muffled lyrics from the live version sound nothing like the official lyrics except for the line "...of falling in love" However everything else seems to be the same. Such a good song!!!
Chiara Sabbatini Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 i can't believe in too dislike..ppl don't know what saying..ok i'm too i listen often GD 90'...but what we do? we must stay stuck in the past?? Let'go ppl...let's go..
Heather. Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 If I'm gauging fan reaction, I do think reaction has been more positive than negative. Of course it's going to be mixed, it almost always is.
Sweet Armataged Chump Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Not a very good song at all, hope this is the worst of the 3 albums. why the fuck would you wish something to be worse?
Alan86 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 where is the kill the dj clip? That was posted about a month ago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2L7YpZONarY&list=UUqC_GY2ZiENFz2pwL0cSfAw&index=5&feature=plcp
pucky Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 its so overproduced. his voice just sounds unatural. live it was an ok song. this is just autotune pop/worst of 80s glamrock. and the lyrics?! pretty random. Did you listen to the song? I don't think so. Billie's voice is what I like most. Of course it doesn't sound like Dookie or Nimrod, but it's way too far from the overproduction of 21CB. Not even close. Plus, I love the part where Billie sings "falling in love" with that falsetto style. I didn't expect it and I loved it. I didn't love it 100%, but it's a good song. Unfortunately, casual listeners and Green Day haters will use the softness of this song to continue criticizing...
Florence Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Not a very good song at all, hope this is the worst of the 3 albums.
Todd Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Green Day in full power-ballad mode, and it... doesn't entirely work. Positives: - The whole chorus into solo section is great, and the one section where the song comes alive. - It's a fresh sound they haven't tried before, and certainly nothing that would have been on either of the last two albums. Negatives: - Almost completely nonsensical lyrics - The verses seem to have lead boots on. No energy whatsoever. - Holy autotune, Batman. 2m 57 in particular. - The official lyrics video is appalling, even as a placeholder. Not only does it draw attention to those lyrics, but it has all the design nuance of a 5 year old who ate his crayons. I dunno, it grows on you after repeated play, but this doesn't feel like it's going to make as big an impact in the charts as Warner are hoping. It doesn't have the energy and impact of their faster stuff, nor the sentiment of their slower songs like 21 Guns. It feels like an anthemic album closer, but it's exactly that: an album track. Whichever way I look at it, this feels like a misstep I fully agree. Autotune over use. But the whole song just builds up. Its like a giant orgasm in the song... Then it slows down. Very catchy. It took 9 ramones songs to get this shit out of my head
Sarcasm Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 I love the song except for a few points. The length, no massive climax and it didn't sound as rough and dirty as I expected. I'm still gonna overplay it like a boss.
Juicebox Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Started listening to this without any expectations and holy shit I cannot wait until Uno! It's different, but I like it
whatshername0303 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 I'm listening Oh love and I like it! I will put it on repeat today! I think that the lyrics are easy to remember and it's catchy; even if english is not the language that I speak... It's easy to sing along on the song.
Azthenia Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 why the fuck would you wish something to be worse? Huh? I said I hope this is the worst song on the albums, meaning I want everything else to be better. And I'm just stating my opinion guys, don't get all mad if you disagree. It's probably the only GD song I haven't liked within the first 5 listens. Just isn't drawing me in like I'm used to with GD.
Firecracker Lell Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Yeah, I noticed that when I watched the lyrics and I was like "I've heard that" and then it clicked in my head that it's going to be released on the trilogy Oh yeah I also thought it was a song name GOSH!! Hope it'll be on DOS! or something! lol tnx btw
Sammy Vicious Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Gosh, i'm so fucking happy!!! The song is great, awesome, fabulous, whatever you want! It's so much better than i thought I love it ♥
**nobodylikesyou** Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 That was posted about a month ago [media=] Thank you!
Kitty Purry Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 its gd they will always have haters. I fucking love it so much!!!!!! people say this is not first single material. Green day's seconds singles always do the best for example blv of broken dreams en 21 guns. and they should do a party song next!!! i want some happy Green Day

lastnightonGDA Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Billie sounds like the whiniest little gay boy ever. Nothing happens. It's basically the same line with the same meaning over and over again. This is embarrassing.

farley drexel hatcher Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 I listened to this song three times so far, all of which were over half and hour ago, the TV is on in the background, and I STILL have it stuck in my head. Well played, Green Day.
The Guy Called Kill Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 People complaining about the lyrics making no sense, the man who wrote this song also wrote the lyrics "You're a sacrificial suicide, like a dog that's been sodomized." You really shouldn't be surprised by now.....
Raven93 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Billie sounds like the whiniest little gay boy ever. Nothing happens. It's basically the same line with the same meaning over and over again. This is embarrassing. Da fuck ? Are you sure you are listening to green day ? Not Justin bieber ?
