The only reason this won't be a radio hit is because it's 5 minutes. But No Doubt's new single is 6 minutes, so at least we're not as screwed as they are, the dumbfucks :P

That's the reason for radio edits :) I've made one that's just over four. Cutting the solo in half, taking a bit out of the post-solo, and cutting the last chorus in half.

I listened to it 25 times. Should I keep going?

I haven't stopped all morning! Keep on goin'!

It's really really good (for a Green Day single)

No but, I am so excited for this new sound! =D The songs is pretty nice, Love the solo part!

Has anyone heard the radio edit yet? I hope they didn't cut the guitar solo, but...

Those who didn't like it can go fuck themselves. Whatever. Everyone has different tastes and opinions -_-

Um. Practice what you preach.

I feel sorry that I said that this way. It just came out in the heat of the moment. I tried editing it but my phone was being a bitch. Yeah everyones entitled to different opinions and we should respect that. I'm terribly sorry. If someone can delete or edit that post, I'll be glad.

I would edit it into a pic of a donkey's arse for you, but those days are gone.

I agree with everyone saying Billie's voice has matured a lot!

but i guess they'll make a radio edit - or already have a radio edit - which is about 2 minutes shorter ;)

Radio normally cuts it in order to air it, yes. :)

Well I like it this way. Radio edit wouldn't be likeable after listening to the full song, I'll always want the full version !

Yes, I'm at about 50ish, I'm still not bored

Same here. I don't even know I stopped counting. How long is it possible to have listened to it in two hours.

Nothing wrong with some people not liking it. That's going to be true for most songs. People each have their own expectations of what they want a Green Day song to be.

I respect your point of view and that we disagree. I just get irritated at the people who don't like it, but then go out of their way to complete disrespect the band for it.

Anyone has the right to voice their disapproval and everyone else has the right to disagree.

Sure, I agree with you :) The point is that some users tend to become very harsh just because they read a negative comment about the song and that fails the sense of a discussion forum in my opinion.

You should be able to prove your opinions about the song (!) with arguments. That's the point here and not attacking users with different opinions.

I don't get this at all, he was way over 30 when they recorded AI, and his voice hasn't changed anything. If there's a difference, it's the production that does it.

at the third or fourth listen, dancing stops becoming a matter of choice.

Good thing we're all being mature here.

The instrumental behind the song is fine, and Billie sounds alright but when it's just his voice and the guitar it would probably sound better if he actually pronounced the words. The lyrics don't really make sense to me...but whatever, hopefully it will grow on me. It's only the first single so I wasn't expecting to be blown away. Not great, but not terrible either.

he neever pronounce his words properly. I just cant at people complaining about billie singing. Come on! listen to the early albums of green day hahahahahh

ok. I won't stop listening to Oh Love

I lost count of how many times I played it.

Well it's ~5mins long so (roughly) 29 times 'cause it's now 25 past.

Ok so 50 was a slight exaggeration.

yeah the full version is always better than the radio edit, but i'm sure when we hear the song on the radio we'll all just be totally happy, even though almost the half of the song is cut out

Really? I actually think his voice has a lot more band width since American Idiot on Broadway. Or at least he seems to know how to use it better. Well, just my opinion, though ;)

I think I've listened to it 10 times now.

It's getting there.

I'm starting to like the "I'm wearing my heart on a noose" part. Like the way it sounds.

you can tell he learned a lot from being on Broadway

Yes, I thought the same thing when I heard it this morning.

Well then. 25 it is.

I liked 50 better.

But it's not like Broadway popped his live cherry. Billie's been singing since like 1987, I think he's found his style already.

Awesome song. I love it and can't wait to get it on my iPod from iTunes . UNO is going to be the best of green day yet I think if oh love is anything to go by :) :) :)

I'm getting so excited imagining this song during the tour with the entire crowd getting pumped with the chorus build and solo!

The alternative lyric videos for this are going to be everywhere.

"Oh story

Morning glory..."
