Four. Posted August 7, 2012 Author Posted August 7, 2012 I just hope it's not too cold, because last winter concert I've been to I nearly froze my toes off. And that was in February.
The Snark Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Yeah, was wondering this too. As awesome as it would be to see them before the end of the year, I'd be kind of jealous of those in Europe who get to see them after Tre comes out. Because either way you miss out---if they don't play Tre songs, you lose, and if they play Tre songs, you don't get to go already knowing them and ready to sing-along. Even if they play the same amount of Tre songs in America as they will in 2013, we wouldn't KNOW them, and that's half the fun. It's possible they'll have released a few Tre song singles/previews by the time they're on tour. I'm hoping that they'll come through again next year like they did for 21CB.
DoodleBob Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Fuck. I just got my band schedule today and from October to November (and a bit of December) all my Saturday dates are full. I'm praying that they play a close FL date on a Friday or a Sunday....or in January.

Laura! Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 OK, we'll take a Detroit date on any Saturday but Dec. 15, so that will work out perfectly! It would be awesome if they did a Detroit date on a Saturday and an Ohio date on a Sunday. It would be a weekend full of Green Day concerts!
DoodleBob Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 OK, we'll take a Detroit date on any Saturday but Dec. 15, so that will work out perfectly! If only we could schedule their dates.
lizziebix Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 If only we could schedule their dates. OMG can you imagine?!!!!!!!!!!!
Mar Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 It would be awesome if they did a Detroit date on a Saturday and an Ohio date on a Sunday. It would be a weekend full of Green Day concerts! I actually would rather have a break between the dates, to give me some time to recover Like, I'm seeing Mraz in Detroit on Aug. 29, but then he's going to NYC (Today Show), Jones Beach and somewhere else before playing Cleveland on Sept. 5, a full week later. Either way, I just want multiple concerts.
DoodleBob Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 OMG can you imagine?!!!!!!!!!!! It'd be great! I'd be selfish though and "accidentally" keep Green Day touring only in Florida for about a month.
lizziebix Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 It'd be great! I'd be selfish though and "accidentally" keep Green Day touring only in Florida for about a month. Yeah, I'd have them in Chicago a lot too. Big arenas and lots of small clubs! And, of course, since we make the tour dates, we'd get tickets to them all!
AndrewW91 Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Yeah, I'd have them in Chicago a lot too. Big arenas and lots of small clubs! And, of course, since we make the tour dates, we'd get tickets to them all! I'd be there for every single one of them. <3

lizziebix Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 I'd be there for every single one of them. <3 Standing right next to me, of course!
AndrewW91 Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Standing right next to me, of course! Yes! Of course!
westendriot Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 OK, we'll take a Detroit date on any Saturday but Dec. 15, so that will work out perfectly! Works for me! I hope they go to Ohio this time too because I feel like they haven't played there since 05 or something? And I was too young to really travel and go to multiple dates at that point so yeah.
Margo 39 smooth Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Great its gonna be -873650879342650 degrees while we queue outside for most of the day. Still can't wait for the dates though
ChelseaDagger Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 After all these pictures/videos/audio from the LA show last night I am desperate for tour dates!!!!! I can't stand the suspense!!!!!!!!!!! Oh please oh please be announced soooooooooooooon..........
Mary Daze Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Green Day Rumors tweeted that they were pretty sure that US dates would be announced VERY soon. Desperate to know HOW soon that'll be. Also, these are the moments I keep on asking myself today: " is this what Matt talked about when he tweeted about big news this week or was it the secret show he was refering to?" it sucks that the gda staff and the press knows all the news some days before we usually do. I'm sure they laugh at us all wondering when something is being announced while they are already holding tix for a sold-out-in-seconds club show in their hands

TaylorKlinke Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I hope they announce them soon! I might go crazyyy if they don't haha
Mary Daze Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Normally I don't have the need to be excited or worried about it, I don't even live in the US. But it is just so exciting to see how they'll handle and shedule THREE YEARS of touring. And, since I'll be at the first 'real' official (= no secret club show or festival) concert in Mönchengladbach and this gig is kinda part of their 'promotion tour', I'm curious to know what the differences between promo-tour concerts and usual concerts after Uno (and Dos?) is released might be a-like or not. Damn, that sentence was confusing. My English sucks
Clockwise Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Who's feeling this week for a tour announcement/dates?
San Miguel Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Who's feeling this week for a tour announcement/dates? Would be great - Thursdays seemed to be GD news day but lately we've had so much stuff it really could come anytime. i guess it would make sense to announce it just before they leave for Japan/Europe dates, although i suppose they don't really need the band members around to publish that sort of news.
Martyn Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Who's feeling this week for a tour announcement/dates? i am tbh. Would be great - Thursdays seemed to be GD news day but lately we've had so much stuff it really could come anytime. agreed completely..
