Guest Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 According to Tre, today is the first day of mastering - so could that mean the snippets we're hearing are unfinished, or is that basically how they'll sound? No idea what mastering really even means ... When they master it, that's how they get a kick with the songs, it sounds a bit more powerful and such. Haha, that's all I have knowledge on Mastering.
petros Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Has it been said that pre order starts at greenday.com at 7/16? Maybe we'll get the other setlists then as well.
Khal Drogo Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Oh yeaah! The trailers are complete! I stepped away for a few days, and this is what happens! I wonder what will happen between now and the Oh Love release I think it's great the Uno! Dos! and Tre! each have distinctive styles, ever though they were born together like triplets!
Annie, get your gun Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Tré has a beautiful smile but he's so serious on the cover... He looks so freaking cute I don't give a damn anyway
QueenOfSuburbia Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Why the hell do we have to wait until January????? At least Uno and Dos will be playing out loud in my ipod and in my car until then!
Malleus Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I listened to the clip from Tre on actual speakers and not crappy laptop ones and you really can hear how awesome it sounds. I think I am most excited for Uno and Dos because it seems like the most change will be on those two records and I am always looking for new ways to have my mind blown by Green Day. I'm only going by the snippets in the teasers though so who knows.
beejeezee Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 This is just so exciting. I feel like 'The Ballad's sig right now.
basKT_case90 Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I think the song in the trailer is "99 revolutions". Check out the audio of the song from Red 7 [media=]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLOELjpT4g4&feature=youtu.be&t=1h27m50s The song is incorrectly listed as 8th Avenue Serenade. It starts at 01:27:50 It sounds very similar to the song in the trailer!
GreenDayisAmazing Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I was sitting at the hospital waiting to get news that Tre' came trailer out today! Then I had to wait hours to leave and go home and watch it since for some reason, I cant watch youtube on my Ipod anymore. Barley got to see it! Now i'm happy! =D
Heather. Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Does anyone else suffer from an irrational fear that they won't live to hear these albums? That something tragic will happen and you'll drop dead. It's like dying a virgin. Right now I'm on the "Just gotta keep myself alive until July 16th..." affirmation. Then it becomes more challenging.
angry_robot Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I'm afraid I was a little disappointed with this trailer, compared to the other two that left me very positively surprised. Billie's description of ¡Tré! made me look forward to that album the most, but I'm not hearing any of the 'epic' sound he was talking about in this clip... To be honest, it just sounds kind of boring and generic to me - not what I was expecting at all. Might change my mind when I hear it with vocals, though. But after being blown away by the first two, I just expected more from this trailer! Oh well. Well, yes, pretty much the same feelings. Probably not the best choice of song in trailer, when I first heard it, Static Age came into my mind and I was like: whaaaat? But it's really hard to judge without hearing vocals. I have a feeling that the whole album is 'epic', as Billie said, but probably this particular song won't be my favourite, just as Static Age in 21CB. That makes me even more excited by this album - I want to hear all songs and make the right impression.
Sanity Loan Posted June 29, 2012 Author Posted June 29, 2012 How did they film Billie surfing? With a portable television studio, as Doc Brown would call it. They're still fairly newer. Not sure how this device can capture all these images at once and play them back in real time but it's pretty neat.

Worst thing that can happen now is to not being able to live to hear the new songs. In the worst case scenario, they better have a record store in heaven! (or hell, wherever I'm going. Though I have a bad feeling that they'll only have Justin Bieber cds there)

Though I have a bad feeling that they'll only have Justin Bieber cds there) I have a strong feeling that hell is exactly like this. Anyway, stop these sad thoughts, guys =) We all gonna live and hear albums, and world won't end in 2012 because y'know, ¡Tré! is coming in January...
BJA TC MD Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Static Age was the first thing I thought of when I heard the "riff" in the beginning... That's exactly why I thought
TheBasketcase Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I got more of a church on sunday feeling, either way im excited for this song! I think Im gonna like iTre! the best
Firecracker Lell Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I know I've said it before --- But I guess it's one the best ways to express how EXCITED & IMPATIENT I am bout it These 3 words might help: CAN'T F**KING WAIT btw --- I hope we'll get more news -- especially track listing for DOS! & TRE!
.................... Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Does anyone else think that around 0:12, when Mike gets closer to the camera, he's gonna kiss you? I'm always so disappointed he doesn't...... But the track sounds so kick-ass awesome, love the drum fills! Yeah, really can't wait!!!

I have the same feelings because, you know, the world ends in 2012...and I don't want to die without listening to these albums! Fuck the family, fuck the friends, they can die, I just want to listen to some good songs!

Fuck the family, fuck the friends, they can die, I just want to listen to some good songs! Well.. If I could choose I would prefer the music ánd my family. I rather not see them die. But anyway, even if the world is ending we will still be able to listen to Tre. Why the hell would they plan something in 2013 if the world ends at the end of this year? That would be the worst and clumsiest marketing stunt ever. And don't forget that there will be a world tour in 2013 as well. If you ask me, 2013 is just the beginning of something completely new. And we will be around to witness it dammit!

I also suppose that the date of this exciting event will be on 15th January. Everyone all over the world will so interested with iTre! that they won't care about teir dogs and then pets will come to the power. I think I took too much vitamin G
