Tubbie Head Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 I don't know what to expect from the music video, 'cause the song tittle "Oh Love" doesn't bring me any fun/crazy image to mind, it makes me think of a boring video actually... We'll see.
alaniluau Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 I want something fun and drastic. Shit being broken, parties and club-show footage, streaking and random shit. And for that, we have Dos.
Hermione Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 It's not gonna kill you to listen to the live versions, you know. It won't make you like the song any more or less in the long run. It's just giving you even higher expectations. For me it's not that I'm worried about it making me like the song less, it's just that the quality of the recordings isn't good enough for me to want to listen to them. It was really great to find out what kind of style the new music would be from them so I'm really glad they were recorded, and if they were better quality I'd be listening away happily, but since I can barely hear how the songs sound from them I'd rather just wait.
Nikkilite Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 I think this is going to be the best birthday present EVER!!! Haha, i cant wait
TheBasketcase Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 I'm gonna go down to the record store and get a physical copy for sure! I can't wait The only other gd single I have is KYE, does anyone know if the single will have and extra tracks like KYE has lights out and whatnot?
DannyDirnt Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Maybe the single comes with a live recording of other song? Maybe a live recording of "It's Fuck Time"!
frunsi Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 I think this is going to be the best birthday present EVER!!! Haha, i cant wait uno will be released at my birthday
The Pedestrian Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Maybe the single comes with a live recording of other song? Maybe a live recording of "It's Fuck Time"! I doubt that, seeing as that song won’t reach the general public until Dos is released. A recording of Oh Love from one of the secret shows wouldn’t surprise me, seeing as they were all professionally filmed and recorded and everything...
Mary711 Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Maybe the single comes with a live recording of other song? Maybe a live recording of "It's Fuck Time"! I don't think so, because we had IFT in the trailer for Dos. So why should they already release another version of it with the first single from Uno? Wouldn't make sense in my opinion.
Laura! Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 I'm thinking we'd get b-sides on the single. But who knows, this is Green Day, they love to surprise us.
Annie, get your gun Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 I want b-sides (pfff just more GD songs), but I find that's a little unlikely. I mean, they're doing 36 songs, maybe that's all we're gonna get
Cori Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 I want b-sides (pfff just more GD songs), but I find that's a little unlikely. I mean, they're doing 36 songs, maybe that's all we're gonna get The Rolling Stone article did say that they had recorded over 40 songs, though. So you never know. I think we may get some b-sides.
farley drexel hatcher Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 We got two b-sides with 21CB and they were both on KYE. I wouldn't count on it to be honest
Todd Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 Yeah, but we got lotag live, kye live, 21 guns studio 880, 21st century breakdown studio 880 as b sides to 21 guns, lotag, and 21st cb singles, ejn and lotag radio versions on promo singles, and we also got thats all right, a quick one, another state of mind, and like a rolling stone as preorder exclusives and deluxe edition exclusives, and kye and static age both live as bonus from rhapsody. So there is plenty of potential for b sides, radio versions, pre orders, reprise already confirmed a deluxe version of uno, and im sure there will be a cover song, probably a better version of Hybrid moments cause they keep playing that at every show. Keep your hopes up guys. And btw, dont order the 21st century breakdown burnout bonus track from amazon. Its the same version as foot in mouth from jannus landing.
DannyDirnt Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 21 guns studio 880, 21st century breakdown studio 880 What are these versions?
WestboundSign! Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 I'd love to get some b-sides! I'd also be happy with live recordings on the singles, though. I'm really excited for all this!
Nikkilite Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 uno will be released at my birthday Really! how lucky you are!
bjafan129 Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 Wasn't know your enemy played on the radio a couple days before the release? I remember Tre says something like, you have all been chosen to here the first single of our newest album or something like that. Know your enemy was released a day before my birthday on the 16th. My mom, dad, and I we on a road trip 3 days before and heard it in the car radio!! I flipped out. Do you think they will do it again? It would be awesome to hear it on the radio!
Florence Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 Don't forget "Lights Out" on the KYE single. ^and Hearts Collide
solongfromthestars Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 It'd be really cool if we had b-sides, that'd make the wait for Uno easier. I suppose that'll come after the single is initially played on the radio though? I'd like to voice how awesome it'd be if the b-side was Stray Heart, but people were already shouted at for going on about that a couple of pages back.
momoluvGD Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 Maybe we get the songs that didn't make the cut That would be nice! I'm sure there are so many other songs that didn't make it on the album, maybe they recorded them?
