-Billiejoezee- Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 I'll ask anyway. Source? Even if it isn't specific, just need to know if it's trustworthy before people freak out and start buying plane tickets. There was a guy on twitter that said "Next week Green Day show..."
Bolanic Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 I'll ask anyway. Source? Even if it isn't specific, just need to know if it's trustworthy before people freak out and start buying plane tickets. I only posted this info so that all of you (people in SoCal) wouldn't spend all week hovering over your computers waiting for some last-minute show to pop up. If anyone is planning to fly to L.A. based on this information, they do so at their own risk.
GTI Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 There was a guy on twitter that said "Next week Green Day show..." That's not a good source. I could go on there and say it is tonight. And "next week" could be any day from Monday-Sunday.
djrossstar Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 At this point nobody knows. People are just trying to freak each other out.

If anyone is planning to fly to L.A. based on this information, they do so at their own risk. you shouldn't post it at all if you know anything. i'm sure you weren't supposed to, if in fact you do know. i hope you don't get in now because of the thousand people you just told. you shouldn't feel sorry for people who are flying out/hovering over their computers. that is their choice and they know the risks like you said.
beejeezee Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 I'd be very much appreciative if they would give us more information soon.
djrossstar Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Wow. KissMeDeadly is the prettiest girl I have seen on here! Will you go out with me!?
ameeps Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Another possibility is the Santa Monica Pier. Jack Johnson did a concert there once and there were tons of people on the beach listening.

kelly42fox Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Wow. KissMeDeadly is the prettiest girl I have seen on here! Will you go out with me!? You are so cheesy. It's adorable.
petros Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Wow. KissMeDeadly is the prettiest girl I have seen on here! Will you go out with me!? Get a room
Lindsay Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 GDC: Helping people hook up since 2004. Last night I had a dream the show was being streamed online and I slept through it. I was very distraught when I woke up, but then I realized it was just a dream.

That would be awesome but wouldn't it be small? Like what part of the Pier? My mom suggested this as well. talking about shows at SM Best Coast is playing there for free in September
Guest Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 anyone think the picture of cleo is some kind of clue?
Sweet Armataged Chump Posted June 15, 2012 Author Posted June 15, 2012 anyone think the picture of cleo is some kind of clue? maybe. Billie might have made it just for fun.
pretty_and_demented Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 anyone think the picture of cleo is some kind of clue? I doubt it. Unless its in the local Pet Smart! lol
pretty_and_demented Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 I really don't think that they would put on a livestream. I doubt they want THAT many people hearing the new material. Because they would tweet it if so; and they have over 1,00,000 followers. My best guess is that it will be outdoors somewhere.
lizziebix Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Let's see, I have next week off work. We could just fly out to LA, hang out until it's announced and then go. Hmmm.... yeah, not going to happen.
Sanity Loan Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 anyone think the picture of cleo is some kind of clue? What about it is a clue? Not everything the band says/puts out is a clue to this. Ex: "Oh, Stay the Night is on the new albums so the secret show must be at night and it's a sleepover because Billie wants us to stay the night. And since he wants us to stay the night, it must be at his house!!!! OMGGGGG!!!11!!"
petros Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Since it will be a big show as Billie said will they be able to stop people from recording the new material?
djrossstar Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Don't record new material! Enjoy the show! Green Day shows I attended 1994 - 2002: People moshing, jumping, singing along. Green Day shows I attended 2004 - now: Everyone standing still with their phones in the air.
Hermione Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Don't record new material! Enjoy the show! Green Day shows I attended 1994 - 2002: People moshing, jumping, singing along. Green Day shows I attended 2004 - now: Everyone standing still with their phones in the air. Or better yet people can make their own choice and do what they want at the show
stylesmanifest Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Since it will be a big show as Billie said will they be able to stop people from recording the new material? maybe they won't play much new material? you never know. they could possible just want to play a show..
