Iva Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Guitar World, December 1997. This was my favourite magazine article during the Nimrod era. I remember going to my friends and telling them Billie will do a rock opera someday. They laughed. Who was laughing seven years later?

Iva Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Glad you like it. As for shaving...uh, maybe the poor guy has an allergy to something? You're now going to suffer for giving me a mental picture of him and wax pads!
Annie, get your gun Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I hope he doesn't shave! but who knows... naaah, I don't think so. But sometimes it looks like it. And I don't have to look close, it shows
jumpsalty Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I think he used to shave when he was doing St Jimmy, but there probably wasn't much hair there to begin with and it was just to be smoother ... anywho what a weird conversation
Iva Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Thank you. And LOVE that most recent picture, with acoustic guitar. This was a random find, as I bought the magazine long ago only to find out there was one tiny review of RHCP's By The Way and not an actual John Frusciante interview. The other day, I remembered that Billie Joe was on the cover, so it's a good piece of history: The magazine is Musikexpress, the month is August 2002. There's another picture, of the band, in an article about history of punk which isn't much per sé, but I posted it here
