This record is special to me cos I decided to take up bass listening to this record. It was the bass solo of East Jesus Nowhere that got me hooked to bass and inspired me to explore more of Green Day ! In Fact my first song on Bass was 21 guns My favorite songs "East Jesus Nowhere". "21 Guns". "21st CB". "Before the Lobotomy"

This album is so special to me 'cause it was during that Era I got into Green Day and with all the trouble times, 21stCB was one of the albums that helped me survive! My favorite songs are "East Jesus Nowhere'' , " Viva La Gloria [ Little Girl ] " , "Peacmaker" and "American Eulogy'' or maybe all of them you know?

This album will always hold a special place in my heart as it is the album that really got me into Green Day. I had no idea they had a new album until I saw some tv commercials for it. One day my dad came downstairs and said "hey, you should put the new Green Day album on your iPod, it's fantastic". I listened to it and it blew my my little 16 year old mind

Hedwig Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 This is not really my favorite album, hell, it's probably my least favorite of theirs, but it's really got something that makes it extraordinary, almost magical. 21st cb has got everything. East Jesus Nowhere, the song to scream to, Last Night On Earth, the love song that's almost too sweet and Song of the Century, the one that I still don't know how it ended up on the record. Before the Lobotomy, the one that makes you dizzy and 21 Guns, the one song that sometimes causes me to avoid admitting that I'm a Green Day fan. Describing an album in words is impossible. I can't believe it's been three years. Happy birthday, 21st Century Breakdown.
San Miguel Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Happy Birthday 21CB like the rest of GD's albums it is a great piece of work with some fantastic songs on it. one song i've recently got into is Restless Heart Syndrome - beautifully titled and with some very meaningful lyrics. i was originally put off by the opening line "i've got a really bad disease" when i first heard it but now see it's just the start of a really really deep song.

Fell in love with it then and still in love with it now. A 3 year love affair , seriously can't believe it's been that long! Happy birthday dark beautiful wonderful masterpiece

Since I downloaded it (these days I wasn't eager to buy records), it changed my life. I had some problems with mates at school, and this record help me somehow. At first, I started listening to Green Dy and rock music and now I am who I am. I also said no to my stupid "freinds", for whom I was a person from whom they could cheeting at tests. Now they are very suprised seeing me in bovery boots. This record will stay forever in my heart, despite it's not my favourite. Fabourite songs: Last of the American Grils, Pecemaker, Static Age, American Eulogy and Restless Heart Syndrome.

Warning will probably always be my favorite but 21st Century Breakdown comes to a close second. Happy Birthday you fantastic album you!
