Rumoured Green Day UK tour 2012/13

They would never announce it on GD.com first, they never do. They tweet it for a reason - people get tweets to their phones. It's an almost immediate way to get news out

just my opinion but I don't think they will tweet or announce anything until sunday after they play or monday when they are ready to deal with it. these smaller shows never seem to have more than two days notice. And they seem to be prepared for this (as in they have been planning to surprise you for awhile now) so they should have everthing worked out on their end, all they need to do is hit send.

and if it helps any, over here when they do the surprise shows they usually give you a day notice before you can buy tickets. So even if they announce it you will still have a bit of time before the tickets actually go on sale. Only thing you may miss out on is if they give away tickets on the idiot club. But even that they gave a tiny bit of notice before you could sign up for the contest..
