I don't seem to be able to multiquote on my phone very easily sooo, I'm not home just yet. We're leaving our holiday now a day early, so I'm just nine hours away from a proper internet connection, hurrah! And yes we should all join forces against the scary Londoners and get merry whilst having a good old GDC get together.

If the gig's on Wednesday night I'll probably hang around and get the earliest train home like you guys, but if it's Thursday/Friday I'll get a night in a hostel and catch my bus to Paris the next day. My bus is on the Friday night though so if it clashes I'll have to rebook -.-

I will be SO bummed if they play London/Reading next weekend...

I've just spent a fortune on going to see them in Paris on Sunday :P

I'm really expecting some sort of announcement tomorrow(well today really), dunno why but I can't see it coming on Sunday!

How many people are gonna hang around outside the venue if they don't manage to get tickets?

Which bus are you meant to get Friday night? I had a look at megabus earlier this week (just in case...) and couldn't see any Friday departures to Paris :/ Are there other companies too? :)

I had a little panic when you said that! I've checked my booking confirmation and yeah it's from London, Friday evening on the megabus. They probably sold all the seats so took the listing off the site :)

If I manage to get to the london show I'm just gonna hang around till the 6am train, hopefully getting drunk with anyone who is around, if not just sitting in kings cross and crying with happiness alone. Not gonna ask my mate for her London flat key considering she is the person im abandoning at the festival if the two clash, and I feel thats a little too rude.

See you there....

I hope that some announcement comes today!

I haven't even considered booking a place to stay in London, no way we could afford it. Looks like we'll be joining everyone stranded at the station until 6am.

Ahhh... so much lying to the parents coming up.

My parents are in Spain, they will have no idea... WIN

Lucky stick.

I find it so hard to lie to them. Ahhh, I'll say I'm crashing with Holly (if this comes off!), which is technically true...

To be honest, iv been away at Uni for the past 4 years, so id get away with it anyway, just the standard post gig lecture of "do you not have work to do"

Why do you have to lie to them? I mean you're 18.

Woke up this morning scared shitless....had a dream that i didn't go to reading in the end, and green day DID play a secret show -which people only found out about 30 minutes beforehand + there was a mad rush to their stage...

WORST DREAM EVER.

(they also covered FOB but i think that part is less credible  )

This band are gonna drive me crazy! :ermm:

still no news :(

Yeah but they do care about me, If I told them "Hey I'm going to London to slum it on the streets for a night", I would get so many lectures about safety and bollocks I would eventually get guilt-tripped out of going.

If they work it the way they did with echoplex then a tweet tonight and tickets Monday ... but billie was never supposed to send that tweet so who knows

And I'm crashing with Bryony

I've already told them that if it's during Leeds, I WILL be leaving the festival, travelling down to London and going back the next day so that screaming fit has already passed, although they think I'm stopping in my friend's flat. When they were freaking out about me walking round Leeds and London on my own in the middle of the night I told them I know loaaads of people doing to same thing and we'd all go together  a few white lies are fine.

I had my mum shouting at me about all the safety shit and my dad shouting at me about wasting my money. I'm so glad I'm nineteen now and live in Newcastle most of the time cause other than shout at me there's nothing they can really do. My Dad said to my eleven year old sister, 'don't you dare ever get some crazy weird obsession with a band like your sister has.'

Please please please can they announce it today? Please? We've got stuff to organise y'know!

Same! It's like some terrible form of torture!! Not that it won't be worth it in the end. It has to be announced some time today, I hope. Just 12 more hours that I need to be awake for...

Try not to let them! Your parents will soon forgive you and forget about it, but you won't! My parents wouldn't let me go to Milton Keynes in 2005, I cried for days and days, and then some more when it got to the dates of the show. They told me that by June I wouldn't like Green Day anymore and it was just a phase  I bet they wish they'd just taken me now, considering the amount I've used it in arguments for the past seven years.
