It's pretty clear we're not going to get a tour until next year and the only secret shows will probably only be in London. so what? you're pretty lucky that they'll play secret shows in your country, they'll never play any here. on tour, when they come to Sweden, they ALWAYS only come to one city. Either Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.. and I live pretty far from all those places and I'd go see them anyway.

That's why London is so inconvenient. The only reason I'm losing interest is because we seem to be going around and around in circles. We've had so many hints and rumours and none have turned out to be true, so it's getting really boring.

More likely is a cheaper train to get there for 11am-12pm.
San Miguel Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 depends when they announce it. if there were to be a secret show in London then my guess is they would announce it on the day or a couple of days before, and it'd be a week day if say it was announced on a Tues that they were playing the following night then i'd not be able to get time off work meaning i couldn't queue early at all. but if it were a weekend then i'd be willing to get there as early as Harriet! given they have announced the show in Japan last night for next Thursday, i'm hoping they will do the same for the UK next weekend. would that be a good guess Martyn?

Seeing there will probably be a secret show in Paris, there will certainly be other secrets show elsewhere.

The UK next weekend?! They're playing Japan this coming Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. If the UK are going to get a secret show it's probably going to be after the Italian concert. One before Paris is cutting it fine but I guess it might be possible. The only reason I'm losing interest is because we seem to be going around and around in circles. We should wait for an official announcement instead of guessing with no substantial evidence.

Getting so scared now. The likelyhood of it occurring whilst im not on holiday or leeds fest is ridiculously slim. I'm on holiday now and thankfully I've got signal for internet in this crappy caravan, but theres no chance I'd manage to buy tickets from my phone. When it comes to it, if I'm away on holiday when the tickets go on sale but are able to go the the show and anyone ended up with a spare I'd happily pay for both tickets and provide alcohol and somewhere to sleep if that person were willing to let me have the spare.. haha. Although I need to calm down thinking about all this considering the lack of confirmation of any description.. OH and Martyn, you're going to reading aren't you? Are you concerned that the show may be whilst the festivals are on, or dya reckon we're safe?

If that rumour about a secret show in Paris is true, then the next likely time slot is after the Italy gig. There's nothing else scheduled (yet) until they play that festival in Las Vegas. I'm hopeful!

Nope, tickets went on the sale on August 6th and sold out in a minute, and the concert was announced (well, not properly announced) a few days before

And we're not even saying "Oh God, I hope they do a secret show here!" We know the chances of that happening are much too slim to get our hopes up I'll settle for the UK! A proper show in Thomond Park during the tour would be a dream come true.
