Simple fact : this topic on this forum has been in existence long enough to prove various sources have been spreading rumblings about a possible tour for MONTHS now. It is only now that the secret shows are happening that people are willing to believe anyone if they hold any glimmer of hope...thats all well and good but Kerrang sold a shit load of mags that way and what did we learn? Where Green Days teeshirts were manufactured. Im sick of grasping at nothing. This is nothing. Billie will tweet. I will wait.

I did hear similar rumblings back around the time this was first created. I didn't hear anything more concrete until around the time of that "leaked" kerrang tour poster, hence why i posted more about this around then. No tour, but a (/this) secret show will fill in the gap nicely, for me at least. Hopefully Billie tweets sooner rather than later tbh!

No need running off trying to confirm things, if it's happening it'll happen, but clearly they want it to be a secret. By going overboard you could ruin their plans and that'll suck a bit.

netty Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 come on people! the guys are winding up for a new world tour! we always have rumours about all sorts of things! and we know they love doing secret shows and how they usually go (announced 2 days before and all that rubbish) you can look at the schedule we know so far and look for gaps where extra shows might be added. nothing will be confirmed until they are ready for it to be confirmed though! that would take all the fun away from Billie`s tweeting!

Soo Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 I'm not even bothered about secret shows to be honest as it would be far too expensive to travel from where I live, down to England (most likely London) and I would never get the time of work at such short notice. But it will be great for anyone who can go when/if it happens. I'm just waiting (im)patiently for the proper tour announcement!

I think that's true. NO, i can't afford a trip to paris too! why must they do this to me Two day gap before their next show, in Germany, on the Wednesday - seems like it could be legit.

And I'll be in England anyway from the 23rd until the 26th for two Less Than Jake shows. It's trying to get the tickets for a potential GD show that I'd be hugely worried about.

I understand how frustrating it can be, but to be honest I think it's quite awesome a band like Green Day (that is to stay quite huge) is able to play some secret shows before a real big tour.
Holly Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 I'm off on holiday for a week now and I'm so terrified a secret show is gonna be announced and, even if I find out about it, will be completely unable to buy tickets on a shitty phone with shitty internet in the middle of the Cornish countryside. Green Day, please may you hold on until next Saturday evening, then announce it for that Monday or Tuesday, else I'm screwed. Cheers!

Bands will always travel to the UK for shows, without fail. Imagine you lived in a country like Indonesia?
