The Pedestrian Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Nice one cocoepops! I love your harassing, it always gets me excited Mind you, he could be bullshitting. For a change
cocoepops Posted July 15, 2012 Author Posted July 15, 2012 Thanks :') whenever he does a Q+A I'm on that shit ;D
cocoepops Posted July 16, 2012 Author Posted July 16, 2012 If this doesn't get announced on Wednesday then I give up on life
Lindsay Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 I'm sorry but... when exactly are you expecting them to tour the UK this year? It's already July, I highly doubt they'd make a concert announcement for August/September with this little time. We know they're more than likely going to be touring the US November-January, and they already have another two dates in the US, one at the end of September and the other at the end of October. Doesn't make sense to me that they would fly back to Europe when they were just there. I hate to be a downer but this is just my thinking, it'd be awesome if I'm wrong but I really wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you guys. Think he might be BSing. A spring or summer tour would make much more sense.
LittleBoyNamedTrain Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 I think there's got to be something coming in this issue on Wednesday. Anyone know what time Kerrang! hits the shelves?

Undómiel Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 I know... WHY DON'T WE WAIT TIL WEDNESDAY AND FIND OUT?! I agree with y'all though. Fingers crossed for June/July next year and Stadiums the year after.
cocoepops Posted July 16, 2012 Author Posted July 16, 2012 I disagree, because they could do what they have done in europe and just play a couple of shows. Also, they could do it DURING september.
Guest Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 I think there's a possibility of shows in September, not a full tour though, just a few to promote the albums. And if they do do a proper tour next summer, isn't it a bit too early for itto be announced? Because it'd be like 11/12 months away...
daria02 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 When I looked at page 62 of the latest issue of kerrang!, all it said was "Green Day exclusive comeback interview". Personally, I don't think Kerrang! will announce a UK tour this Wednesday. They're probably hinting at it only to get their sales up.

Still tho, weird for him to directly reply to someone like that....then later tweeting the weezer lyrics "i asked you to go to the green day concert", if he's lying..he's gonna be killed! daria02 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Whatever happens, I hope Green Day do an indoor arena tour first and I hope they do it at a suitable time!
tvrman Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Whatever happens, I hope Green Day do an indoor arena tour first and I hope they do it at a suitable time! Agreed ! I took my son to see GD on the 21CB tour and now I have a 13yo daughter keen to see them. IMO an indoor arena is the best way to see Green Day. BTW I think the needle is stuck in her ipod because Oh Love is playing over and over and over...

Indoor arena shows are more convenient and the barrier is much closer to the band than at stadium shows.

I'm not that much of a fan of arenas. Especially the Manchester arena, that place is really unpleasant. If the UK tour is taking place in the Summer, they may as well play outdoor arenas for what it's worth.

It's a shame some of them aren't well maintained because it would make the experience more enjoyable.

Shame it's far too small for Green Day. I didn't go to Green Day '09, by the way, but I've been to a fair few shows at the Arena and I just don't like it.
