Elena Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 idk whether i should vote for Who Wrote Holden Caulfield, J.A.R. or Minority ...those three songs all mean a lot to me, but all in such a different regard (if that's the right word here xD) ...Who Wrote Holden Caulfield cos I love the book Catcher In The Rye and love it how he "parodied" the story of that book...and the lyrics are simply amazing, J.A.R. is one of the few songs written by Mike and the lyrics are just amazing and the meaning of it is also amazing, it's just the perfect tribute for a good friend ...and Minority is probably the song that hepled me the most just to being my self and not caring what others say and i totally love how he parodied the Pledge Of Allegiance (mostly how he made "dog" out of "god" xD) and the moral majority ...the other songs in that list are also amazing...Letterbomb e.g. is simply amazing (and there's a reason why American Idiot is my fave album: cos every single song on it is amazing), but my fave song of that album is probably JOS and that wasn't in the list and i agree that it would be boring if an AI song won this again ...Favorite Son is also one of my faves, but i just can't vote against WWHC, J.A.R. and Minority... in short: I dunno for which song i should vote but i'll definetaly vote for either WWHC, J.A.R. or Minority

It's amazing, but...American Idiot, again?? Minority and Going To Pasalacqua would deserve that second place, but hey, I must vote for She. It just fills me up with so many emotions, through those lyrics
