The band records the album and is part of the mixing process. And that's it on their end. They'll do photo shoots, a music video, and some pre-tour gigs while the album is being mastered and physical copies are being produced. It's up to Warner and their ad team to do the promotion and getting the word out.

Maybe they will include one song on each album, maybe as a hidden track, that is the same song only each time a different version (billie's version, mike's version en tre's version) and just focus the rest of the songs of each album on maximum Green Day

I was heavily active on here when 21st CB was in the works. There was such a divide on the forum between those who were going to listen to the leaked songs, vs those who were going to wait until the album(s) come out. Things like the demo version of 21st CB, and the 6 songs released from that radio station that time. I downloaded and listened to them all, but this time around...I've only listened to Carpe Diem (which I also downloaded) and Stray Heart. And even though I downloaded one, I've only listened to them I think a combined total of...5 times? I dunno. I think I want to be surprised this time. Of course, if they end up touring after the first album is released, it'll mean that those of us who are deciding to wait or taking it easy will be at a disadvantage at singing along with the songs at the shows
