Stay the Night would be a perfect summer single. :woot: I wonder what song they'll use for the single(s)

Yes! I want a proper recording of Stay the Night so bad! It should def. be the new single!

Stay the Night is totally one of my favorites from the secret shows. Although, I would be fine with Carpe Diem too.

Well this is all very exciting!

I just hope these records get better promotion than 21stCB.

Green Day should make a poll for us to vote which is going to be the next single :P

Ok, who was the one who came up with Carpet Diet?

Since that joke I am not able to read it as Carpe Diem anymore! :acute:

Yes! that song is just awesome! And I think it's perfect for a music video. Great song to start promoting the new albums.

Actually, I personally think that releasing Carpe Diem as a first single would be like Know Your Enemy.

It's a good song, but not powerful enough to start off the album promotion.

But that is just my opinion of course

It was this guy:

I'm thinking he was just being a troll though. :P

I hope there's a single out by summer.

I would say late summer is more realistic.

Guess this non topic talk is just cuz we waiting for more news then you will see it back on topic again lol :P

I feel like a bad fan, but I'm really hoping that the Uno, Dos, Tre are maybe subtitles? I'd love to see something random for an album title like "Dookie", "Nimrod", or "Kerplunk".

Can't wait for all this to happen. Eagerly waiting for the albums. I am sure they will be great.

when i read that gd will release three albums i was like " are they fuckin kidding me???? " and to be honest: I´m still not convinced....

I'm glad to see I'm not the only who is not ready to be all hyped yet. It just sounds really strange. I mean there's still a lot of time between now and September so a lot could change by then. If it is 3 albums I just that they all be good.

Posted

^ Yeah at first I thought that too like it was a joke or something, but when I saw the video it cleared every doubt I had, I mean the guys look super exited and they have a bunch of material, so right now I don't have any doubt that this is happening.

I'll probably get more hyped about when it gets closer to September and no details have changed.

These albums already have better promotion an 21stCB

I justt hope that they pick the singles for these albums better than they did for 21st Century Breakdown. Know Your Enemy is a good song, but East Jesus Nowhere would seriously have been much better as a first single. Tbh, I kind of don't want Stay the Night to be the first single for this. I mean, I really do like what I've heard of that song, but I think that GD can write better songs.

I hope they release it on July 13 (my birthday!) That would be epic!

i agree, that's my bday too :D

Posted

I hope they release it asap so I can save my money back for Uno lol.Or maybe I don't but the single but buy the album first and them buy the single because I get Dos and Tré for free

but a single is very cheap, it will only cost 5€ at the most

And if anyone of you has the idea about getting "iUNO! iDOS! iTRÉ!" tattooed please wait till September cause imagine how that would be if they changed the names again

Yeah, I almost feel like these are working titles.

Like we said in this weeks episode of Static Noise, ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tre! might only be subtitles to the album. For example the albums could be put out as Nuclear Family: ¡Uno! and so on.

sound logic... imo Uno, Dos, and Tré dosn´t sound like "real" album titles....

I think the album titles will stay the same, they seem pretty excited about it the way it is. But yes, please no-one get it tattooed with this being the unpredictable Green Day and all!

I feel as if I'm the one who keeps starting the spam on this thread, after all the pokemon "i choose you" was my fault...

Don't worry, it was my fault too

:P

I think it'd be lame to dilute the idea like that. There's tons of albums that have one main title but are broken down into parts with subtitles, it's not very interesting. Plus "Nuclear Family" sounds like an album that would be similar to American Idiot and 21st CB rather than fabulous gritty rock and roll album and "Nuclear Family (or another name): Part Uno" etc doesn't sound much different to "21st CB: Act One: Heroes And Cons" etc. Uno! Dos! Tre! is so bold and awesome and it gets across the fact that these albums aren't the same as the previous two. I hope they stick to it.

i always wanted them to pick viva la gloria! as a single... know your enemy is one of their weakest songs ever. east jesus nowhere would definitely have been a good pick, regarding to the similarities to holiday.
