Heather. Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 The three white boards in the first studio update indicate that they were pretty organized from the beginning. In fact, according to the Rolling Stone article, they proposed the three album idea a few months before they entered the studio in February. Moreover, due to the extensive amount of pre-production they typically do for an album (i.e., rehearsing), it usually doesn't take them that long to record. In short, compared to the 21st Century Breakdown recording process, it seems the band had a much clearer idea of what they wanted to accomplish. It sure seems that way, and I think it's a really good sign. I just remember Butch Vig saying how much of a mess and undertaking it was to organize and develop the songs on 21CB. I bet Rob didn't have to deal with that as much, necessarily, and instead could just focus on maximizing potential.

Tre was the only one acting serious in the small video bit

Its weird how the rest have it above the album name though the dates on ¡uno! is 6/21/12 the one for ¡dos! is 5.25.12 (not sure if it says 5) and the one for ¡tre! is 6/25/12 those are not the release dates
No Rhyme Or Reason Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 also I'm sure this has been said before but I hope now people will start differentiating between Tre the drummer and Tré the album since they're two names that are almost the same spare for a detail. The accents I mean. As in that Tre the drummer does not have an accent on the e. Actually, I'm pretty sure Tré Cool has always had the accent in it technically. People are just lazy and don't put in the accent all the time. So the CD is named after the drummer, both spelled the same way. Yeah, I'm wondering about all those songs from the secret shows, particularly the girl named songs. I don't know if they'll all be there - that's a lot of songs named after girls, haha! But who knows. I have a list of 42 songs (from the shows, articles, etc), so it will be interesting to see which ones make it and which ones we'll never hear. And there are probably still a few titles we haven't heard yet too. I love the picture Billie tweeted today! They all look good and happy with their shiny new CDs. I can't wait to hear them!

I think that, weirdly enough, my least favorite one is Mike's cover. Tré's cover is good, I don't like yellow but that blue is too cool.
