InsideOut Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Knowing that there's going to at least be a small "story" running through the trilogy, I'm sort of looking at Uno as just one part of something bigger. Others might see Uno as an album with no connection to Dos or Tre (like people who aren't fans of Green Day and won't know it's a trilogy, haha). I'm curious to see whether our thoughts of an album will change depending on how we look at it and how it connects to the other two. Don't even know why I'm trying to get at, but it's definitely going to be interesting reading all the reviews.

Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 I was just thinking how one of the most interesting and amazing things about having a Trilogy is that, while we'll each probably have our own "favorite" album out of the 3, we'll also be able to pick and choose within a short span of time, a few songs from each album that we truly love, and put those together to make our own personal best-of the trilogy. Imagine taking your favorite songs off of 3 Green Day records and putting them together. That's essentially what we'll have the privilege to do since we'll be absorbing tons of new music all at once and studying it all for a new tour!

But the 21st seems more likely I know we were talking about this a couple of days ago, but I just looked up Uno on Jb-Hifi's website, and good news! We are getting Uno on the 21st! And apparently it's already avaliable for pre-order

I was totally digging that song when they played it at Red7 (?). Aye well, even if it doesn't make the cut, I still have another 36 motha' fuckin' tracks to look forward to. :D

But another thought just jumped in my head. They might also use some of the extra songs as bonus tracks when either downloading the album on iTunes or for Japanese/Australian releases

AMAZING and Amy on one of them?! AMAZING!!! ...haha when i told my mom that we get 36 songs, she was like "36 songs?? oh..my...god" ...well, i told her that now she knows what we'll listen to in the upcoming months
