The Trilogy Albums: ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré!

I hope we'll get to have a preview of at least some song from Uno! in the upcoming tour in Europe between August and September

I'm pretty sure they will play some of the new songs during the tour.

O.o I was shocked but dead happy! Because:

My interpretation = 1 album sung by Billie,1 album sung by Mike and 1 album sung by Tré!

Well,maybe it's just 2 albums sung by Billie and 1 by Tré but I definitely think Tré will make something new,and I'm 90% sure he'll sing lead

I think they'll sing froms from all 3 albums in their next tour,but now I don't expect the world tour to start till 2013 because they sure will wait to have all 3 albums.

Uhm... no? Sorry, but that just seems really unlikely and I also don't know how many people would really want it. One or two songs sung by Mike and Tre are fine, because it's fun and all. But neither of them is a great singer and releasing a complete album sung by Tre would be kinda stupid.

On another note, I like the idea of getting excited for a new Green Day album so often within such a short time. But I think I listened to 21st CB non-stop for at least three or four months, so that won't be possible this time, haha. Still not sure if I really like the idea of releasing three albums though.

I agree with Kaddy. Sorry to burst your bubble but that's most likely not going to happen. I do agree that Tré will likely will have a bigger part with the last album, but I really think you should try to let go of the idea of him singing lead because the probability of that is very unlikely.

I bet that when the 3rd album comes out the record company will do a boxset with all 3 albums, coupled with a dvd of the making of all 3 albums. This being the only way us fans can get our hands on the documentary. This will be record company trying to squeeze money out of us with cheap marketing. Not saying its definitely happening, just a hunch I have

I think Tre actually has a great voice if he's being serious, but it doesn't necessarily suit Green Day and there's no way he'd sing lead for a whole album, haha. Mike is an amazing backup singer but I don't think he'd even want to sing lead that often, it wouldn't show his talent properly.

So yeah, have to agree that one's a definite no.

They're Green Day, they'll find a badass way to release the singles.

I hope that with three discs coming out that Mike and Tre get a little more space to do their own songs. At first I was thinking maybe each band member have their own album, but I don't think that would happen. But Mike and Tre definitely need to be featured vocally in at least 2 songs a piece.

I don't really want to see them have their own albums each because that definitely wouldn't play to their strengths, yeah it might be fun to have the odd little ditty here and there sung by the other two but Billie is the lead singer... that ain't gonna change methinks.

But the band has been such a success and sounded its best when Billie is on vocals, why change a winning formula? I mean I love the little parts Mike and Tre sing but Billie's singing is one of the most pleasing aspects of listening to Green Day, no need to change it!

When I found out I was so excited I had absolutely no idea what to do with myself. I then pictured myself as one of those cartoon ostriches that stick their head in the sand. I didn't do it with these ones but I often used to read iViva La Gloria! like that, and it took me years to realise that another song with those exclaimation marks wasn't supposed to be like that.

I even cheated and used an i for Viva La Gloria just then
