I think they love it because Mikey sings in this one :)

Yeah! Mikey > life = epic

He's the best in the band imo.BTW I could think this way because it's the one I relate to teh most: He's quiet but crazy but sensible, just like me.Exploding combination,I think people likes it.

i´m surpised that american eulogy has so much votes. and the votes are consistent distributed.

the problem with those voting games is: I love every green day song... :)

Hard chouice.. Static noise won after listening to the whole album once again :)

on 21CB the choice was easy for me cuz i don´t like the songs of it very much... so i went with the static age, which is definately the best song

I changed my vote a couple times  But I'll stick with Viva la Gloria/Little Girl. It was one of my favorite songs as soon as I heard that guitar solo. There's something about that song.. Idk, well, there's something about the whole album that makes me want to play it over and over again. Which I did obviously, but you know, I don't get bored of hearing the songs over and over again. I changed my vote from Little Girl to American Eulogy a few times, as well as thinking about changing it to EJN or BTL. I shouldn't visit this thread until the poll is closed..

Voted for Restless heart syndrome. Kinda like the pixies quiet/loud formula.

All in all I don't like the album very mutch...I don't think it's bad but I just hate those parole songs like east jesus nowhere and know your enemy :S

What do you mean? 'parole songs'`?

It is difficult. But not because the whole album is amazing. The whole album is just good

This.

I don't like songs that are built around one idea only. Like in Know your enemy...50%(fairly random number) of the song is the line "know your enemy" combined with some other words like "gotta"...

I prefer, you know...those songs based on lyrics. Mostly because of that I like Green day's older songs more than their newer stuff (like Having a blast or F.O.D. more than know your enemy). My favourite singer is Bob Dylan (J.R. Cash is also one of my favourite songwriters) so that's probably where my love for complex lyrics come from.

Maybe it's just stupid or too pedantic but I love my songs complex and that's not the case in the case of 21CB (except for 21 Guns and shit like that) :P

I love complex songs too and that's why I love 21st Century Breakdown . I get that Know Your Enemy isn't very complex, but the rest of the album is! I think it has the most multi-layered lyrics of any Green Day album, it's definitely the most difficult for me to get my head around and work out the meanings of (which is what makes it so enjoyable).

Hmm. Hell, I don't now how to explain it.

E!!i - You're probably right xD

Hermione - It is kinda multi-layered but it just isn't as good as the old stuff. Take Stuck With me for an example :P ("I'm not a part of your elite, I'm just alright...class structure's vaving colours bleeding from my throath :3)

East Jesus Nowhere FTW. Although Last of the American Girls is one of my favorites, too.

I don't like Last of the American Girls, it sounds like Beach Boys

Well who'd have thunk it? American Eulogy has won by miles!

B-sides will be up for voting next
