Has to be Before the Lobotomy for me... No matter what mood I'm in I can always listen to that song..

Plus the lyrics and the music changes...

I just love the difference between the man who has had the lobotomy and the man who hasn't. I love the musicality of the whole song.

And I just can't leave out on of the funnest lines ever to scream out during a live concert: "Whiskey, shots and cheap cigarettes!!" 8)

For me this album is very divided between songs I love and songs that I think are just mediocre.

East Jesus Nowhere, Peacemaker, ¿Viva La Gloria? (Little Girl), Last Night On Earth, Restless Heart Syndrome, 21 Guns, Horseshoes & Handgrenades, and Before The Lobotomy are all incredible, 5-star songs in my opinion. Those are definitely some of the best songs Green Day has ever created.

But songs like The Static Age, American Eulogy, See The Light, and Know Your Enemy are just kind of bland, imo. Not bad, but nothing special...

It was very hard for me to choose between my top 8 songs, but I went with Peacemaker. I love the Spanishy vibe and how up-tempo it is. It's so fun! I just wish they'd play it live.

.... Maybe I should have gone with ¿Viva La Gloria? (Little Girl) though, since that's where my name comes from... hmmm.

I dunno... I really like it, I mean it gives us a different type of album, added to all the many different ways they have done every one so far.... I dunno, I think it's brilliant to have that change when you are in the mood for it, like it's great to have Warning when you want a more acoustic side of Green Day.

Personally I don't think they over did it, I think they were in that type of state of mind where changes in music and characters were what they needed to get their feelings out through this album.... Y'know??

I would llike everyone to know that my original vote went to The Static Age. But I saw that it probably wont win so I changed my vote to Song of the Century because it is so beautiful. Just because its less than a minute long and only has Billie's voice in it doesnt mean it cant win!!
