Katarina. Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I know right? My sensible head is telling me to wait for the arena tour but my stupid head is telling me how I always wanted to go to Paris... It's good you said this, cause it made me realize I want to wait for the arena/Europe tour. But.. what if these dates are the start of an actual tour..
Undómiel Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 It's good you said this, cause it made me realize I want to wait for the arena/Europe tour. But.. what if these dates are the start of an actual tour.. Yeah... urgh. I'm torn.... Oh well, day tickets haven't even gone up yet.
Requila Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 This. But I guess R/L headliners are begun to be organised way back when and Green Day weren't active then? It is probably the UK arena tour this fall which ruled them out for being at R/L. It's the only reason which really makes sense.
Undómiel Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I've just thought... Green Day and Noel Gallagher at the same festival. Lol.
Red Lights Flash Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Damn, I HAVE to know the other tour dates now. Need to know if they're coming to my country. If not, I'll have to go to France. I'm super happy though!
Hermione Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I wouldn't have been going to Reading if they were playing it anyway so this is equally good to me. Yay for everyone going and looking forward to hearing about it and photos and videos
Fuzz Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I've just thought... Green Day and Noel Gallagher at the same festival. Lol. Hehe, thought about that too. Was going to mention it in my news post but decided against it.

Yay for everyone going and looking forward to hearing about it and photos and videos I'm definitely coming around to the idea... Hehe, thought about that too. Was going to mention it in my news post but decided against it. It'll be pistols at dawn. I'm 99% sold on this now. But I need to find people to room with. Man, I have an incentive to work my ass off when I get home.

GuitarPunk94 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 thats so confusing for me right now i dont know what to do now...should i wait for a tour announcement (so i can see GD live in my own country, would be cheaper and easier for me)?? or should i buy a 1-day-ticket for paris..if there wont be a tour this festival in paris could be the only chance to see them live..
Undómiel Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Tour threads 2012, I can't wait! Has your sensible head won? Looks like I'm going. Probably.
Four. Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 France this summer? It may just happen. We were looking for a place to go anyway. WOOT. If the tickets aren't too expensive.
Undómiel Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 France this summer? It may just happen. We were looking for a place to go anyway. WOOT. If the tickets aren't too expensive. There only £41 so CND$63...
solongfromthestars Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Ahh, exciting! I don't want to rush into booking it though, I really don't want to go to a festival in France then find out that a UK arena tour is going to follow afterwards. Summer Sonic happens before Rock en Seine so it'd make sense that more Europe dates would follow. What if they don't though... decisions decisions
Four. Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 There only £41 so CND$63... Not bad! Hopefully they won't all be sold out then, haha.
lhutton93 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Considering going. I live in Worcestershire, England so it shouldn't be too expensive to get the train to Paris or I could always get someone to drive me there! Not sure if I'll go for the one day or the full three days yet though.
Undómiel Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Not bad! Hopefully they won't all be sold out then, haha. They haven't gone on sale yet.
greendaytodeathandback Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 This. But I guess R/L headliners are begun to be organised way back when and Green Day weren't active then? I've figured I can get a ticket for £41 + Eurostar at £50... if I can find a camp site somewhere nearby it's gonna cost me less than £100 to go! Oh my God.... That's smart... I am so considering going to this...
mies Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I'm so depressed. I hate making decisions. Same problem
whatserbmae Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 I'm so depressed. I hate making decisions. If you want to and can, go! I've decided to go, so that I can start looking forward to seeing them now, instead of waiting for a possible tour to be announced! I can't believe I'm seeing Green Day this year!!! :D

whatserbmae Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 How much is it going to cost you? Tickets for the festival + cheapest flight around €135 + cheap hostel = not that bad for a weekend in/around Paris
Undómiel Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Tickets for the festival + cheapest flight around €135 + cheap hostel = not that bad for a weekend in/around Paris I guess. I'm cooling off the idea. Urk. I need a UK tour announced. And not for September.
