Juicebox Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Still torn between BOBD, Give Me Novacaine and Letterbomb. jeez. Although it was close as fuck (and I know Letterbomb is probably going to win) I'm going to have to go with BOBD. The lyrics are really relatable and it sounds awesome too haha.
Hermione Posted March 15, 2012 Author Posted March 15, 2012 How wonderful that Homecoming is doing so well . Just a few more votes and it could actually beat Letterbomb
Undómiel Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 The lack of love for Are We The Waiting sucks donkey testicles.
Comic Sans Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 This was really easily. Homecoming. Oh, and the last week I went for Maria. (I forgot to post it )
LittleBoyNamedTrain Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Letterbomb! My appreciation for that song has grown so much recently. The live version in AAF is amazing also.
Bastard of 1967 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 St. Jimmy. Pure punk excellence. 'Nuff said.
winks29 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Took my ages to try to decided which one to vote for. Love so many of the songs on this album for many different reasons. But when it came down to the top 3 to choose from, for me it was Letterbomb, St Jimmy and Wake Me Up When September Ends. The latter 2 where for more, very personal reasons so I voted for Letterbomb because it is just an awesome song and one of my absolute all time favourite Green Day songs to sing (especially in the car and in the shower). Phew, that was a tough one
Cre Tool. Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I am really surprised that Are we the waiting got such less votes!

GDInsaniac Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Letterbomb Is such a good song. Billie joe even said it was his favorite song off of American idiot.
Elena Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Letterbomb Is such a good song. Billie joe even said it was his favorite song off of American idiot. didn't he once say that St Jimmy is his favority song off of American Idiot? or am i completely wrong?
Smoothed Out Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I have to stick by Holiday, if I don't, everything my life has been built on is a lie. dundunDUNNNNNNNNNNNNNN.
yuan Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 my head tells me go Homecoming my heart says Whatsername oh god why.....
Just a grouch Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 After voting for Wake Me Up When September Ends, then re-considering, then listening to the album over and over again (not exactly a hardship!), I finally decided that Letterbomb is the song that keeps on giving. I LOVE this album and it's tough to vote for just one song but, in the end, Letterbomb shines. Go see American Idiot to hear it sung (as Billie says they imagined it all along) by a woman - it's awesomely good. I have to go now before I change my mind.
Wingman Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 This album doesnt even have on ok song on it its so hard to chose but im gonna have to go with September ends it makes me emotional everytime I hear it

melissawebster Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Seems you're on the wrong forum... ._. I'm pretty sure this person meant that all of the songs are great and none of them are merely okay or mediocre, making it hard to choose. Right?
Sarcasm Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I'm pretty sure this person meant that all of the songs are great and none of them are merely okay or mediocre, making it hard to choose. Right? doesn't even have one ok song doesn't seem to positive too me xD Maybe I interpreted it wrong! :/
melissawebster Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I'm just trying to give 'em the benefit of the doubt. Don't know why he'd be here otherwise.
The Grohl Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 I thought they meant that this album doesn't have a song that's just meh...you know like a take it or leave it song...something that's not so fantastic but it's not great either. That's how I took it.
VisionsofGreenDay115 Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 I voted for Letterbomb at the beginning of the week but now im debating changing my vote to Are We The Waiting. I know it wont help much but it would feel good to vote for my favorite other than Jesus of Suburbia..
