If you will understand what song is this, you'll understand my vote. ;)

I've managed to narrow it down to, erm, 12 possible songs...

Voted for Waiting. I don't even know why I had to think about it.

One day I'm going to learn to play a hurdy gurdy and I will cover Misery on it and it will sound awesome. YOU WILL SEE.

+1 just for that. :D

I love Warning, definitively my favorite Green Day album. As for my favorite song on Warning, I don't know. Warning is one of those albums that you can't hate a song on, because every song on Warning never gets old to listen to. If I have to pick my favorite song on Warning, it definitely goes to Warning (The song). There's something about the song I love and I can't put my finger on it....... Wait, I know what it is..... It's the epic Acoustic sounding, Bass sounding and great lyrics on the song that made the song my favorite, including the Music Video. Warning is such an epic song. :)

How does "Blood, Sex and Booze" not have way more votes?!

I've voted for Misery. I fucking love that song, and it deserves more credit than it recieves.

Doesn't look like Macy's Day Parade is even gonna place... :(

I have no idea but I was wondering the same thing

It was the hardest decision... I voted for Hold On, but I equally love Deadbeat Holiday and Minority too.

Don't you think Warning (Song) is highly underrated? I thought it was gonna get way more votes

[blahblah] Hold On, Waiting or Minority? I'll decide later :)

Well I just voted for Waiting

I don't really understand why people like that song, I mean, it's a good song but I think it's the worst ending of any of their albums, I mean, Warning is so energetic, so cathy...I don't know is a really7 sad song to close a really good album imo.

I like almost everything about Macy's Day Parade but the trouble is all I can hear when I listen to it is that repeated guitar going "da duh duh" over and over and over and over again. The monotony of it does fit the feel and theme of the song perfectly.......but it also makes it annoyingly monotonous to listen to which makes it my least favourite song on the album.

Poor old Jackass in last place.......deserves more votes than that even if just for the fabulous sax solo alone!

That's true. What I also love about that song is that you can hear this kind of Wake Me Up When September Ends thing if you listen from 1:03 to 1:07 and from 1:41 to 1:45 (if you know what I mean. These to parts of the song really make me smile :D ). I also think that lots of people like Jackass but don't like it so much for it to be their favourite track from the whole album.

Voting for my favorite song off my favorite album ever... I didn't think this was going to be possible. Castaway has started every road trip I've taken in years. Hold On has gotten me through so many bad times. Macy's Day Parade is so poignant and simple, but powerful. Misery is something totally different for them, and SO much fun to sing! Deadbeat Holiday makes me think twice about my sad suburban living situation and kick my ass out of apathy. (Two more years until I am back to the Bay Area). Minority is pretty much the Green Day anthem, and my personal credo. Waiting is my alarm clock, hearing Billie telling me to wake up every morning...it reminds me every morning to count my blessings. I really though hard about voting for this one. And Blood,Sex and Booze....whew. It has been the spark for a thousand naughty little fantasies...definitely a favorite. But then I realized how easy this one was. Church on Sunday. Seventeen years later, and it is still obvious he meant every fucking word. "if you live with me I'll die for you and this compomise" Every time I hear it it brings me to tears. It makes me so happy seeing Billie and Adrienne and it makes me think of all the crazy me and my hubby went through when we were young and stupid. (now we are old and stupid, lol) It tears my heart out in a happy way. Hands down, favorite.

The whole album is fucking amazing, definitely one of my favorite GD albums.

My vote goes to Deadbeat Holiday. So underrated, and I'll do whatever it takes to get the boys to play it the next time I see 'em live! :runaround:

Easy one!

Minority, but many songs deserve to win this one.

Posted

Looks like Minority's gonna cinch this one....

Posted

Minority has the Majority of the votes (The point of the song was completely missed, obviously :P )

Posted

i think the live performances of Minority have helped it just clinch first place - it's so high energy

disappointed my fav Castaway didn't do so well tho i wasn't expecting it to win. Oh well, looking forward to when AI week comes up so i can plead the case for my favourite song of all time!! i walk alone, i walk alone...
