I'd personally like it to be something seemingly random, but that still fits in with the general theme of the album, like Insomniac. On the artwork I have no idea, I'm really shit at that sort of thing

A title, that isn't a song at the same time. But as long as the songs are amazing I don't really care about the album title much.. so it's okay! And the artwork? No idea.. I think I'll just wait and be surprised then

Maybe not Nuclear Family or Carpe Diem or any other song name As for a cover, the fan ones look really cool. I reckon GD won't be on the cover themselves, hopefully some cool logo like we've had with the heart grenade, AAF bunny, lightning man and stuff

I think, that they will choose an album name, that is unpredictable. I mean, we didn't know, that their albums were named American Idiot or 21st Century Breakdown. I think, that is gonna be a surprise... But the main thing is, that it's gonna be a kick ass album like the other ones!

But I don't really like the title Nuclear Family.. I like better It's Fuck Time, but after Awesome as Fuck I think there would be too much "fuck" in those albums (or at least in their titles)..

Elena Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 i don't really care which name they'll choose for their next album, cos in my opinion the important thing is the music - which i think will be awesome...as always ...i also think Nuclear Family and Carpe Diem seem possible, but i also don't like these names that much...it would be great seeing a creative title, something that we don't expect but that fits to the album ...or something inspired by fans...like Carpet Diet ...but as i said before: the important thing is that the music is good and not the name... ...and about the cover....idk...i just hope anything very creative and good fitting

This album needs a straight, even random, one-word title that doesn't coincide with a song name, again. Something insulting too I'm hoping for something cool and new, like AI, a logo that is a picture of a cool and creative thing. I'm not rooting for another grand painting like Insomniac.. I don't like that cover, it's too yellow and full of random stuff. A simple but original logo, like the heart granade or the Kerplunk flower would be great indeed... But really, so negative about Insomniac?? That is a masterpiece in my opinion, Winston Smith is a fucking genius.

I've said as much in other threads -- I think those two words sum up what Green Day's been all about for at least the past three years. It'd be a damn powerful statement for what's going to be a damn powerful album. P.S. - on the subject of "how many fucking threads are we going to make about one fucking album" -- I'm thinking that either a subforum or at least a "9th Studio Album" tag for all of them would be helpful here. Dogs gonna bark, GDCers are gonna create a thread for everything that happens with this beast.

PLUS Billie's tweet officially releasing the news that they were now recording came on Valentines Day... you all dont see anything at all??? Its gonna be Cigarettes and Valentines...
