Mrs. Nobody Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I love the flashbacks to 2008 I'm getting This is so exciting
whatserbmae Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I really really hope Oh Love and Stray Heart make it onto the album! They're my two favorites. Also that "Oh Girl" song from the soundcheck two years ago, it's cute. I'm really hoping for Oh Girl as well, I love that song! I doubt they will put both Oh Girl and Oh Love on the same album though. I really hope they'll keep posting videos for us! This is so exciting!
TheJesusOfSuburbiaIsALie Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Since I saw it just now..... OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!! :runaround:
Queen of Hell Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I doubt they will put both Oh Girl and Oh Love on the same album though. Why not? They could give them other names and on 21stCB they had "Viva la Gloria" and "Viva la Gloria [Little Girl] "
BJA TC MD Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 This video is getting me so excited. It's great to see them back in the recording studio, and look like their having heaps of fun.
bjrules Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 What I think is one of the best things about this video is that the band look like they are really having fun with the music and everything that's going on. This time around, it seems like they're going to be a lot more open about the whole process then they were with 21st CB, and, in a way, they look much more excited about this new material than they were with 21st Century Breakdown. I mean, I know they were raving about it being "the album of our lives" when it came out, but I can't remember seeing them genuinely enjoying themselves as much as this, and combined with the secret show performances they did, they just seem to be excited about this record all round, which just makes me all the more excited as well

Even if we only have around 20 seconds of studio-footage, they seem a lot more relaxed and confident, probably due to less stress around making the "follow-up to the multi-mega-hit-record American Idiot".
WalkingContradictionPL Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Oh my6 God! I'm so excited! I'm sitting ill in home and Green Day is my new treatment Well, this 6th song can be Teenage Lobotomy by Ramones. The 7th can be Trouble Maker.
cathiesue Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I'm soooooooo excited. I can't wait for the new album. I'm already obsessed - god know what I'll be like now. F**K The time between albums seems to have gone so much quicker this time. Maybe because AI on broadway was there to fill the gap. off thread .... I've just read every post and I noticed some people have got really cool pictures of Billie as there profile pics - whrer do you find them ???? :bunny: :bunny: :bunny:
Disapperingirl Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Well this is both fucking exciting and promising, a long series of videos showing the recording process (and their smiley faces at work) would be an awesome present for us fans This is even touching... they're fucking back, and this is for us
It's Splash Time Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 ahhhhhhhhhhh just watched the vid like 4 times, so nice to see them recording :D :runaround:

I was just about to post it, but you already said it
GuitarPunk94 Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 anyone else before noticed that the song list we can see a very short time in the video is written in a small corner of a huge white-board?
reckless Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I've never been this excited for a 20sec video before
ANJI Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Really love the short teaser...if only it was longer So happy Rob is producing the album, i know it will be epic
bollard_11 Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I have a massive erection of excitement right now, not gonna lie
greendaytodeathandback Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 AHHH!!!! It's starting!!!!!!!!!!! Finally!!
WestboundSign! Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Awesome! I actually never thought we'd get to see a video like this! And it makes me happy that Rob Cavallo is in there. He is the producer! Amazing! And Green Day seem to have a lot of fun - probably what makes me most exctied about it!
adriano_nunes Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I just found some song names, Nuclear Family, Stay the Night, Carpe Diem, Let yourself go, Fell For You, Crushing Bastards + more I paused the video by accident and there they were Look behind Rob Behind Billies Seat Good job!!
Tripe Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Exciting stuff! Like Cheryl said several pages ago, it's so promising that they are allowing us this sneak peek instead of closeting up for months like they did the last time around. Hope they keep it coming. Really excited to see Rob C onboard, too! That bald guy mentioned is Brad - he is an engineer at Jingletown and I believe he has toured with GD in the past as well, so that's why he may look familiar. He didn't used to be bald - had dark hair and kind of favored Micah Chong a little.
KatherineKerplunk Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Im with a lot of people here. Im so fucking happy that Rob is back!!!
