But that's why I think it'll be part of the album i mean they could easily walk into the studio one day and say ya know what Fuck Time should be on this album just cause people won't expect us to put it on because we played it in FBHT

I'm with Matt on this -- strongly leaning toward this one being a "fuck it, we've got nothing to prove anymore, we're just gonna do what we wanna do" -- that is, they're going to self-produce this time. I have mixed feelings about that to the extent that nobody other than themselves are judging the quality of their own Kool-Aid, but then again, what the hell -- nobody judges how well they sound on tour except themselves and their audio engineers, and we all know how well that works out for them!

Regarding people that hope the songs they've played at the secret shows *aren't* on the album - I'd be okay with that only if they still release some studio versions of them, like maybe some exclusive bonus EP for the hardcore fans (us). So then we'd have their official, possibly more serious album, but also an extra CD with all these fun songs too. Just a thought.... Though I really do love a lot of the songs they played! I hope Oh Love, Stray Heart, Stay The Night, Oh Girl, and 8th Avenue Serenade make it at least.

Stuff is easily lost, multiple discussions are all combined into a single one, it gets hard for new people who haven't been a part of the conversation for the last 50 pages to keep up or find stuff. Lol, imagine that actually was him announcing the title and nobody got it. (Not that they'd actually have a title set in stone on the first day of recording)

Sure, some of the songs are a little more light-hearted but I think that from what we've heard these songs stack up with some of their best material.
