VisionsofGreenDay115 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Anyone agree that Know Your Enemy could have used more lines than just the beginning and chorus?? I mean I know how popular the song was being played on the radio and stuff, but it could have been way better if Billie had thought of more to display lyrically. I mean most of the songs is like one verse and then a chorus... over... and over.... and over... again.
OldWhatsHisFace Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Every song on Awesome As Fuck is better than the studio versions
bjrules Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Someone said on here ages ago that Know Your Enemy could have gone somewhere fantastic and epic after the bridge bit, instead of repeating the same thing over again, and I've always agreed with that. Something about the end of that song seems a bit lazy I think.

Yeah, 21 guns and KYE were played like a million times...I can't stand KYE, I hope they won't play it in the next tour (or al least no in every concert)
Drankolz Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 I think Nice Guys Finish Last and Burnout are absolutely amazing. The only thing I really miss is the sax solo in Static Age, it just adds so much to the song. I cannot understand why so many people don't like the intro to Extraordinary Girl, I think it's really cool.

Elena Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 After seeing the musical, I can't help but always be a little disappointed with the album versions of 21 Guns I think Holiday is a complete song. I think Walking Contradiction reaches its own maximum potential. yeah when the album came out, i loved 21 Guns as it was, but as soon as i've heard the live version of it, i didn't like the studio version that much anymore...in my opinion the album version is the worst of all 3 versions (though it's not bad), then comes the musical version and my absolute favorite is the live version as they did it on the tour yeah Holiday is perfect !! ...and well, i don't like it whenever Green Day make a long "I don't care" part...
