Fuzz Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Just to let you guys know, I didn't have a lot of time to be adding videos during the day on GDA. Here's what happened and why your video didn't show up on GDA. We had Billie Joe's birthday post ready since the day before, and that night before I went to bed I went around and gathered the birthday videos I could find so i could put them into Matt's post. When I woke up, I saw a few messages from people asking to include their videos, so I added those. I even checked this thread before I left to work for the day to see if I could add it last minute before I left - but I couldn't find it, so I published the post as it was and left for the day. I did see a few messages later on asking me to include more videos (I added 2 more when I came home) but then I had to work on other stuff for GDA so I didn't go back and revise that one post any further. Sorry you guys didn't get to see your video up on GDA in time. If you guys plan on doing stuff like this in the future please know a couple things 1) You should definitely have the final thing done and uploaded days before whatever anniversary/birthday. 2) I'm not sure if we'll always post fan videos. I think they can be cool, but I also think with so many different groups of people doing videos, it gets a little out of hand for us to be posting all of them in the future. Anyway, I hope you guys all had a good time with this and hopefully you guys can work together on future things. Organizing people isn't easy, but as someone said earlier, just learn from this mistakes and work toward doing something better next time around.

I think it's more important that we did this for Billie Joe Just sayin I agree, we all made this for Billie Joe and made an effort to do something instead of just letting his bday pass by. Yeah, there were some mistakes, but really, we still made something cool and did it for him, so in the end it does matter as much
