I once set a paper towel on fire and my teacher just shrugged it off, saying she didn't want to have to call me "dangerous Brian" Then me and my friend burnt a hole in a boiling tube, switched the bunsen off and there was still a flame. I'm pretty sure there's been other times too, like the distillation experiment where I put way too much of the stuff on the mat to set fire to
