DecanoLP Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 What about Rage Against the Machine? Since Green Day and them are both political. A band like Rage Against The Machine would never open for Green Day... Well, I'd like to see the Beatsteaks or Emil Bulls someday. Both are great German bands although the Beatsteaks might be too big and they are able to push the crowd more than Green Day. Emil Bulls aren't that popular, but they play kind of (Nu)metal which wouldn't fit I guess Apart from that, Sum 41 could work
Red Lights Flash Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Emily's Army as an opener would be fun for us and all, but they're just not as good (yet?) as many other bands out there that could open for Green Day, so I don't think that's the best way to go. I'd love Rancid, Anti-Flag, Social Distortion. Those would be amazing combinations with Green Day!
Isabel Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Teenage Bottlerocket! That would also be amazing! They are so much fun live
Satan Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Billy Talent! Cage the Elephant would be really cool too. I think MCR is too big now to open for someone else
green day blink 182 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 The Strokes. fuck yessssss the strokes are my 2nd favirote band to green day! ive seen em twice and theyre fuckin great! id like to see the strokes or arctic monkeys!
Maria-ISH Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Soldiers of a Wrong War, 1Wish, Sound Express, or Low-Fi. Those are the only bands I like that's it's plausible that they would open for Green Day.
-Billiejoezee- Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 The living end or emily's army. influents, pinhead, rancid, evanescence, FF, paramore, blink. Omg A+
karma1215 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Foxy Shazam! sigh.... Pretty cool band to see live...I've seen them three times and the lead singer is hands down the scariest front man ever! He took three cigarettes and stuffed them in his mouth but overall great performance .
A Killjoy from Detroit Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Pretty cool band to see live...I've seen them three times and the lead singer is hands down the scariest front man ever! He took three cigarettes and stuffed them in his mouth but overall great performance . Haha yeaaaah! He eats cigarettes regularly and that's worrisome. but my cousin met him and he's actually a shy guy off the stage, kind of like our little Billie. But I've never seen them live and i'm quite jealous
Sarcasm Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Bowling for soup, to get the happy going on! =D
spark in the night Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 ALKALINE TRIO, FUCKING DAMNIT !!! or FHT/The Network/PHGP for obvious reasons
jamesobxfan2296 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 How about Foxboro Hot Tubs? Just kidding.
fiercecircus Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Alkaline.FUCKING.Trio. I have been digging them hard lately. also, i love teenage bottlerocket!
Brian Gag Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 No, seriously. I have enough songs written, and I'm sure I could get a drummer and a bass player ready in like a week.
JaseminTheIdiot Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Hmmm its a hard question.. I think the idea with FBHT is pretty cool hahahahah I dunno.. seriously.. Papa Roach?!
burnout409 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Goldfinger, 3 Feet Smaller, Sugarcult, Teenage Bottlerocket,
Sarcasm Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I'd rather like a two hour warm up with Green Day, and then a one hour of Foxboro Hot Tubs The other order would be wrong xD
Hermione Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I'd rather like a two hour warm up with Green Day, and then a one hour of Foxboro Hot Tubs The other order would be wrong xD I concur. Green Day followed by Foxboro Hot Tubs has gotta be the ultimate. In fact in London they did 3 hours of Green Day then drove across town and did 2 hours of Foxboro, so they can do even better than that!
Isabel Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Less Than Jake would be FUCKING perfect!! Hello, best friend number 2.
Brigister Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Who's number 1? I want to know as many people appreciating good ol' ska punk as I can.
