Mar Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 The Gaslight Anthem. If this would happen, I would literally die at the show. My heart could not take any more, my brain would explode, I don't know. It would be the greatest thing that could ever happen to me in my life.
_Rabbit_ Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Ooh ooh! Lars frederiksen and the bastards!
Bundita Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Prima Donna... or AFI again, AFI was a good opener.....OOOO or maybe the Wicked Good!!!
LouLou Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Prima Donna... or AFI again, AFI was a good opener.....OOOO or maybe the Wicked Good!!! The Wicked Good would be awesome as an opener! Loved AFI as an opener as well
Psycho Britney Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Oh Frank Turner again would be good!
Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 The Dopamines would be super fun. Or The Phenomenauts.
TheNimrod51 Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 I honestly want Sum 41 to. They need a band like Green Day to help them get back on there feet! ( they havent been as big) Plus, Sum 41 has yet to tour america. They did shows on the west coast but not many.
Zelda Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 It will never happen, but Avenged Sevenfold. I would sell most of my possessions and do whatever it would take to see as many shows as I could, then I would die from the overload of awesomeness. But realistically, I would love to see them tour with Bad Religion or the Offspring. Either of those would be amazing.
JellyTime Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Die Toten Hosen. I think it's quite possible at concerts in Europe.
Holly Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 I would love it to be someone amazing who I have either never heard of or never took the time to listen to before. When Frank Turner was announced to support at the stadium shows in England I had never heard of him and yet now he has massively shaped my life, I've seen him eight times? and I am so grateful to have been introduced to such incredible music.
bollard_11 Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Anyone except MCR and Paramore is fine with me
Velocity Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 The Gaslight Anthem. If this would happen, I would literally die at the show. My heart could not take any more, my brain would explode, I don't know. It would be the greatest thing that could ever happen to me in my life. omg YES. THIS A MILLION TIMES. My two favorite bands at one show? I would literally die. Especially since they're supposed to have a new album out this May (or September?), and hopefully Green Day's new album will come out around the same time. And this is their major label debut, so opening for Green Day could get them a lot of exposure. I feel like a lot of Green Day fans could like TGA too. /overexcited fangirl post
sara_gd Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 It's weird that I see this thread today and just tonight I had a dream where I was in front of a map that had some marks in the places where Green Day were playing, with the name of the band that was opening, and My Chemical Romance was opening in Poland I'd like to see them opening for Green Day, yeah Social Distortion or Bad Religion would be awesome too, but it doesn't seem likely for Bad Religion as they hadn't had that fight when Bad Religion asked them to open for them
Isabel Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 How about one of the bands from Larry's compilation album that's going out on Adeline records? Someone like The Copyrights, Dear Landlord or The Dopamines...that would actually be amazing. The Copyrights even mention Green Day in one of their songs Or just anyone that's not Blink 182, My Chemical Romance or Paramore. Less Than Jake. That would be awesome. Have we met? I think we are now best friends.

Hi, new best friend! Hahaha Nice to meet someone else who knows LTJ!

Isabel Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Yes please! Hi, new best friend! Hahaha Nice to meet someone else who knows LTJ! Yes it is! Except I couldn't pick Less Than Jake as a band who I'd want to see support Green Day because I think I would actually die. It's just that I'd love to see MCR and Green Day in the same night, but that would be cool too Oh I just meant it as a general comment, not in response to yours or anything. I'm sure loads of people would love to see them both in the same night
DoodleBob Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Mindless Self Indulgence That'd be pretty cool!
moonflower93 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 influents, pinhead, rancid, evanescence, FF, paramore, blink.
colour_me_stupid_ Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 QOTSA. But that would never happen, because QOTSA should not support anyone Also, I would have some mass freak out and I would in turn probably scare people.
