Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Mrehhh. It's crazy that nothing has surfaced yet. I keep checking excessively!
Underbelly Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Mrehhh. It's crazy that nothing has surfaced yet. I keep checking excessively! Me too! Refresh~refresh~refresh~ refresh~ definitely psychotic, lol. So are we all diagnosed now????
Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Me too! Refresh~refresh~refresh~ refresh~ definitely psychotic, lol. So are we all diagnosed now???? I think so. Time for the anti-psychotic meds, I think... so I can stop checking. I even started checking ebay!
karma1215 Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Holy crap! They could open up for Green Day...future shows that is. Just think of the possibilities. The question is when.
Underbelly Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I think so. Time for the anti-psychotic meds, I think... so I can stop checking. I even started checking ebay! me too- first place i looked. It's kind of making me want to buy a siouxie and the banshees album, though.... i keep coming up with peek-a-boo.
gloria123 Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 i would love to hear this, but it would really bum me out if the people who got them was those annoying people who get these things and sell them for tons of money and aren't even fans pf the music. i don't think they did it for the publicity, i think it was just a fun thing to do (like the Network)
Fuzz Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 So unless I'm mistaken, they were 7" and not CD's? Because if that's the case, it's less likely the music will show up online too quickly as there's fewer people out there who can rip a vinyl than a CD. Unless I read that wrong.

I think you are right unless they release it online themselves.

Pretty sure its vinyl, you can pretty much tell just from the pictures For some reason I have a feeling they will end up releasing these on Adeline Records soon. I don't know why, maybe because they are in such high demand and they will wanna give the fans what they want
lizziebix Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I think you are right unless they release it online themselves. Sadly, I think that would be unlikely since it was for family and friends, not the whole world.
Boston Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I'm sure it'll pop up online soon enough. I don't think they're so mean as to tweet about it for days and then not give us the chance to listen to it.

I don't think they're so mean as to tweet about it for days and then not give us the chance to listen to it. That's very true. Adrienne is the sweetest person alive, and to tweet about the songs and the band but not let the fans hear them doesn't seem like something she'd do. It's just a matter of time before we all hear these songs! I sure hope it's soon!!
captain peroxide Posted December 20, 2011 Author Posted December 20, 2011 Fuck, gimme a copy of the vinyl and I'll have it online in less than an hour. I'm sure I'm not the only Green Day fan out there with a USB turntable.
Satan Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Honestly, I'm sure we'll have it by next week, latest. USB turntable. I wasn't even aware that that existed
Heather. Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Was gonna say, I bet half the people who grabbed one of these have no means of listening to them. I will give them 24 hours to get their shit together and vinyl it up.

My friend that got me the record said they had both - she said the guy at the record store told her the cd's went first.
captain peroxide Posted December 20, 2011 Author Posted December 20, 2011 I wasn't even aware that that existed Well, it's a regular turntable, it just has a port for a USB cable, so you can transfer your records to mp3s if you so desire. Was gonna say, I bet half the people who grabbed one of these have no means of listening to them. I will give them 24 hours to get their shit together and vinyl it up. Slightly below "famine" and "war" on the list of modern injustices is "people who buy limited edition vinyls who don't own a turntable."
-Billiejoezee- Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 If only they start selling them at Amoeba.... It's fucking great that they had CD's too!! So apparently on the 7 inch, jakob is credited as the boo, and billie is "Daddyo"
Heather. Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Saw on Tumblr a quote from Billie's bro Alan that it's Billie on bass, Jakob on guitar, Adie singing, Joey drums, that it's "pretty good" and that they sound like the Go Gos. Have no idea where that came from, but it sounds awesome... if Adie sings like the Go Gos!
Tripe Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Slightly below "famine" and "war" on the list of modern injustices is "people who buy limited edition vinyls who don't own a turntable." Hey! I bought some when I was between turn tables. Meaning the one I had on my original stereo about a million years ago was long since dead. And I hadn't bought a turntable for my daughter yet. Now I can play them on hers. But I mostly like looking at the pretty colored record and larger artwork, anyway. **Runs away**

And records are very pretty, I want to hang mine on the wall someday, but still

Heather. Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Whats the link to his Tumblr? It's not HIS tumblr, just a fan saying he said that and I don't know where they got their info from, hence 'no idea where that came from.' http://drunkinnewyork.tumblr.com/
