November's Storms Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Wow that's such an awesome idea...time zones are so annoying. Thats the beauty of it, no matter where you are in the world you have some time for it. Tony, did many others email you? We could start chatting/planning as a group via skype or PM?

Jaymee!! Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 For a visual portion of the GDCathon, Aska and I could drink PBR on-screen for an hour or two and have witty banter with people on JustinTV
November's Storms Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Would it all be done through Justin TV or through skype or what? I'm quite technologically retarded! How would those involved be able to run the same show from different computers in different countries?
whitechristmas Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Will this be recorded? Because if it is done on New Year's, I can't watch/listen to it.
Jaymee!! Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Would it all be done through Justin TV or through skype or what? I'm quite technologically retarded! How would those involved be able to run the same show from different computers in different countries? I think things would have to be carefully coordinated with those involved long before things actually start to happen. Say one person has everyone 'tune in' on Skype. The next person to take over the next portion has things ready to go 5 minutes before it's their time slot, and the current person passes the torch on to said person and everyone runs to the next destination. Example: Tony hosts GDC radio on Justin TV for an hour, from 1-2pm. At 1:55pm, he gives everyone a link to Alex's portion (where in this case he would play various cover songs on his guitar for half an hour) and at 2pm, everyone goes to the new link and things pick up. 5 minutes before the next switch, he gives everyone the link to the next destination (say, a premade spam thread to talk about what's been going on for an hour before it's shut down by a mod who provides the next destination). And so-on and so-forth for 24 hours.
