LittleBoyNamedTrain Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I think this might just apply to in the UK ... which would probably make more sense at the randomness of it all. If it were world wide i'd expect other acts to be much higher Nah, it's worldwide, it was posted on Ryan Seacrest's website
The Snark Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 And this is why I no longer to listen to the radio...
Satan Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I forgot about the existance of Enrique Iglesias lol who?
GreenDayisAmazing Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Green Day, Bob Marley and Metallica are the only ones that I like on that list some of the others I've never even heard music from. Bob Marley and Metallica are pretty good, but I think Green Day is amazing!!! just be happy there's no Bieber or Katy Perry on the list lol you think they'd be right up near top of the list Ohh I didn't even notice that =D
Laura! Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I forgot about the existance of Enrique Iglesias The only song I know he has out is:
Heather. Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 That list just seems incorrect because if you look on Facebook the Beatles have more likes than Green Day... so someone did some shitty counting.
koolkev Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Isn't Bob Marley dead? yes.... Still a lot of black reggae fan around, apparently
whitechristmas Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I just googled him too. I thought he was an American idol singer or something Wait, he isn't from American Idol? I always thought he was some weird guy who got 6th place or something like that in American Idol.
KilljoyFromDetroit Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Bob Marley, Metallica (and obviously Green Day) are the only ones rhat should be on that list… the rest IN MY OPININION are shit
-Karen- Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 the black eyed peas shouldnt even be there. theyd be number one though on a list titled "bands who annoy the fuck out of you" or "bands that are too overplayed on the radio" avril lavigne sounds like a cat getting electrocuted when she sings . is she even a musician? david guetta just needs to stop. or at least he shouldve been #9 and green day #4. 1 step at a time. but young people these days , some are clueless , thats why im at least glad not to see lil wayne. katy perry should have been on there i her justin bieber. i wouldve expected him to be there, girls would do pretty much anything to be around him. suprised he isnt (not a fan of the biebs here) barely anyone on that list is a musician...
Carol Ahmed Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 That list just seems incorrect because if you look on Facebook the Beatles have more likes than Green Day... so someone did some shitty counting. It's not the counting for the most liked of all time, but only in 2011. This year those were the most popular, though there are many pages bigger than theirs.
TheJesusOfSuburbiaIsALie Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Rihanna no.1? What's wrong with the world? It's awesome that GD's on there though
Elena Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 the black eyed peas shouldnt even be there. theyd be number one though on a list titled "bands who annoy the fuck out of you" or "bands that are too overplayed on the radio" avril lavigne sounds like a cat getting electrocuted when she sings . is she even a musician? david guetta just needs to stop. or at least he shouldve been #9 and green day #4. 1 step at a time. but young people these days , some are clueless , thats why im at least glad not to see lil wayne. katy perry should have been on there i her justin bieber. i wouldve expected him to be there, girls would do pretty much anything to be around him. suprised he isnt (not a fan of the biebs here) barely anyone on that list is a musician... i actually like Avril Lavigne ...but not as much as Green Day, of course ...and i don't like Katy Perry, but everyone has another taste, so yeah and to the thing with Justin Bieber: the reason why he isn't in the list is cos his fans aren't old enough for Facebook...their parents don't allow them to go on there and vote just kidding i actually wondered about that too, but i'm glad he's not on there
Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Not too bad for a year where they were (relatively?) quiet. But were they? So many surprise shows... None the less, for a year with no new album, and no official tour- that's not too bad.
Amanda Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 None the less, for a year with no new album, and no official tour- that's not too bad. That's what Bob Marley said as well.
Brigister Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I don't see this much people who like Green Day, where I live.
Paul McCartney Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Hey i liked Green Day on my facebook.
belindatest Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 #2 is the most disappointing, I think. The only reason Marley is on there is because a bunch of teens and pre-teens pretend that they've listened to more than two of his songs, and think that they'll look cool with his quotes and picture attached to their account.
Grem Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 The black eyed peas shouldn't be on the list. Instead, it should be all the artists they've ripped off of.
