Live105 playing 2 full hours of Green Day - US only

See, this is why Luke and I tried to avoid playing "the hits" and tried to go more toward deep cuts, side-projects, related bands, and the Lookout! Records years - stuff that doesn't get much airplay. We figured that if someone just wanted to hear the more well-known tracks, they could do that whenever they wanted.

We're going to hold off on the next one for a little while, considering there was only a 3-4 week gap between the first two. We don't want to overdo it. My next show is going to he holiday-oriented, while I'm unsure what Luke's doing for his next edition. I know he did an amazing tribute to the Kinks last week, and in a couple weeks I'm hitting up a Ramones retrospective.

Hypothetically, if there is going to be another Green Day show on WXOU, we'll probably wait two months so it will coincide with a certain holiday. Cigarettes and something-or-another, savvy?

Meh, to the question about iPods and CD's: Chances are, we all own them, but as someone else mentioned, hearing Green Day on the radio is always a nice little surprise.

I agree. And as much as I love the WXOU Green Day shows... I think this one was special. This was a major radio station giving them 2 hours of play. That's pretty rare.
