Perhaps he technically wrote WMUWSE first, but Homecoming was the first song they wrote that really made them realize their vision for AI as an album. Or maybe the other way around, maybe WMUSE was the first song written specifically for this album (because Billie says "was the first song written for the album"), whereas Homecoming was the first song they wrote of the songs on AI and that sparked the idea of the album etc. Dunno,that's what I thought of. What you said is very possible as well.

When i was a kid i used to spell things the British way because i thought it looked cooler. And because i knew it was a correct spelling either way. Got marked off for it every.fucking.time. And fought it all the way. Colour. Labour. Oh well. My favorite was Tyre. Also- has anyone ever heard a brit pronounce the word "Aluminum"? It's fucking amazing. It's because we spell it a better way (Aluminium), and then just pronounce it the awesome way that it's spelled Maybe there are multiple "firsts". I think that's what it is too, sounds that way from what he's written here and from how they've descibed coming up with Homecoming. Sounds like WMUWSE was the song he wrote that inspired the type of songwriting and themes we would see on the album, but then Homecoming was the first song they wrote FOR the album that made everything click and told them exactly what direction they were gonna go with it.

It's amazing to see with such honesty he wrote that, showing all his love for that music that's his baby... "It was about truth and blood. Rage and love or whatever you want to call it". I love how they're keeping using "Rage and Love" in all their messages, that album had an impact in a lot of new and old fans lives, but before everything had an impact on their lives. Because it came right from their heart. Billie really has faith in this project, and it's awesome how he keeps taking care of it, in a way or another.

And thanks plaid for the extra info It's so sweet that Billie thinks of the cast in this way, and I love that he's so supportive. It's like his baby is going out into the big world, and he's still watching over. I'm looking forward to seeing this start up again now.
