thedeathofsaintjimmy Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Eh, I find the song incredibly catchy and can't understand why everyone hates it. I just don't like when Billie's all like, "LIKE A FLOO-OOOD!" That's the part I can't stand.
pasalaska Posted October 29, 2011 Author Posted October 29, 2011 Y'all go nominate next week's song now. Okay? good. go! NOT IN THIS THREAD. In the nominations one. okay.
BJA TC MD Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 The first time I listened to this, I was like, right this is different. Second time, I was like, OH YEAH!! The way Billie dances in the Fox Theatre vid is great!!
drugstore hooligan Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Christians inferno took a while to grow on me, the whole 21stcb album did tbh. But i love how different it is, Christians inferno is very dark and i like that, and people who say its tvery repetitive in the chorus, so is know your enemy, but both still kick ass
DTH Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 sorry if i renew a tread here. but i like to go back to older green day albums when new stuff comes out. just to place things right. so listened to my favourites of 21stcbd again and just wanna say that christians inferno is a masterpiece. the most underrated green day song ever. i love the verses and the contrast to the upbeat chorus. and such great lyrics... one of the best green day lyrics ever. the listener really gets in the mind of a person going crazy and who wants to "toxin your resevoir and then returning man to ape". i'm missing outstanding lyrics like this on the new records. there are some good lyrics, but not stuff where i say: wow.
Slave To The Network Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I just love Billie's maniacal laughter on this track!
