ANJI Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 ball, surely, not balls. anyway, I enjoy Letterbomb's drums immensely, they're very intense. I did He only has one Oops haha yeah that's what i meant
Hermione Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 A thread about Tre's parts . Oo-er! Ohhhh you mean his drumming parts . The first two that spring to mind are the solos in Burnout and the first part of JOS, love both of those. Whenever my mum hears either of those parts she says "Is that Uncle Roy?" (my uncle who is not a very good drummer ), which is ridiculous. And there's so many songs where his drumming is REALLY loud and clear like a machine gun which is always good, it's hard to pick. I agree with Give Me Novacaine! They stand out so much and it sounds great. Absolutely love the weird middle eastern-sounding drums at the beginning of Extraordinary Girl. So awesome that they even thought of putting that in there.
DoodleBob Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Are We the Waiting I know it's not a hard drum part, but it's one of my favorites. When I'm listening to music, and that simple but recognizable drum beat comes on, I get so excited. You also can't beat (no pun intended ) Jesus of Suburbia's drum solos in the beginning.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Every time I see this thread, I read "Favorite Tre pants". Which would possibly be an even better thread than this. As for the actual thread, I like the drums to Armatage Shanks, awesome intro and great drums throughout the song.
Annie, get your gun Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 There's many Tré's parts I like... Like Jesus Of Suburbia (all), East Jesus Nowhere, Burnout, Holiday (probably my favorite) ♥
blitzkriegdeb Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 His arms. But really, I love the drums in When I Come Around and Burnout.
BJA TC MD Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Longview Intro, static age and everything else pretty much. And JOS
green day is Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 All of 21st Century Breakdown. Especially when you listen to it isolated in the multitrack. It's amazing.
Rage & Love. Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Favourite Tre parts? His balls! Yeh i like the drums in American Idiot Ball*
Webb_2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Probably my favorite drum part would be Good Riddance. . . Kidding! (not funny I know) but seriously my favorites would include 86, the beginning to Lights Out, When I Come Around, and of course the solos in Burnout!
Smoothed Out Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I love Jesus of Suburbia, just before Dearly Beloved and his solo.
