Aren't the protests and the Kennedy Center like opposite sides of the city? About 60 blocks apart?

Its a bit of a walk but no its not 60 blocks. More like 15 or 16. The protests are going on at Freedom plaza which isnt on the opposite side, its not that far. And I can pass the Kennedy center on my home so thats probably what i'm gonna do.

I highly doubt they'll perform a new song. They'll probably do Will's favorite or something. This is airing on PBS, after all, and the crowd will actually be pretty professional for a comedy award, so I think it won't be something too silly. I'm wondering if it'll be thematic with Will's George W. Bush impersonation.

I feel like I've been getting burned on all of the Green Day events lately. I couldn't catch the live stream, and I don't get PBS. But regardless, I'm excited for Sunday! It's quite neat that they're being invited to perform at this event.

I'm really curious what they're going to play. I definitely wouldn't mind another EJN with Will Ferrel and cowbell!

Where can I watch this? Is there a online stream somewhere?

I'm late to this conversation, but I'm assuming PBS will have it on their site. I have no idea if it's viewable outside the US though. The good thing about PBS is that they will re-air programs. For example, this particular show will be shown at least 3 more times that same week in my area. Hope this helps! :)

1. It's REALLY nice to see you around the forum again!

2. Yes, PBS aires shows many times after. I'm sure someone will record it as well. Does anyone know what time it'll be on? (on holloween)

omg i'm such a stalker. I was at freedom plaza taking photos of Occupy Dc and next thing I know i'm just chilling in the lobby of the W (the fanciest hotel in Dc, where i'm positive they're staying). I mean it was right there. hahaha god that was the stalkerest thing i've ever done

I concur.

Also yay so this is going down tonight.

As I live outside the US, are there any livestreams of the channel going on that I can view? Or is anyone gonna record it, which is probably the easier option?

Anyone familiar with the Mark Twain prize? Does Barack Obama attend this? Because he attends the regular Kennedy Center Honors, that's why it's in DC. I don't know how often they do these "side awards"...

Who's going tonight?
