Not a huge Will Ferrell fan, rather meh about his humor, but he obviously loves Green Day to ask/get them to play on his special night. That makes him extra cool in my book!

And don't forget, it'll be taped and edited before we see it on the 31st. Hopefully they'll show all of Green Day's performance.

And as far as them playing a new song or announcing something I doubt it. This night is about Will Ferrell not Green Day so they wont take it as a time to announce something for them.
