Undómiel Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Long shot but has anyone thought that it might be about Billie making music with Livermore (he is a musician after all) rather than him simply being involved in the production/label side?
Bastard of 1967 Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Long shot but has anyone thought that it might be about Billie making music with Livermore (he is a musician after all) rather than him simply being involved in the production/label side? Honestly I had not....but that's sure within the realm of possibility. Let me go take a cold shower now before I SQUEE all over the damn place.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Long shot but has anyone thought that it might be about Billie making music with Livermore (he is a musician after all) rather than him simply being involved in the production/label side? Now that sure makes sense. Good thought! Or just releasing something from Billie, possibly. I mean, Green Day is simply too big to release a record on something off Larry's.

It's like that recycling advert: "The possibillieties are endless"!
Katarina. Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Very interesting! Whatever this is about, I'm looking forward to hearing more about it.

It's like that recycling advert: "The possibillieties are endless"! I know, but I don't think that's too realistic. The tweet doesn't really suggest that, imo. Just my opinion though if that was intended to be a pun, then I love it!
Ellenkc Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I'm guessing it's most likely a job offer with Adeline, though it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
netty Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I wonder if this is the complitation he is looking at putting out?
pasalaska Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Maybe, just maybe, the Lookouts will finally be released on CD unlikely. I wonder if this is the complitation he is looking at putting out? THE compilation? I'm not following Larry on twitter, am I missing something?
Katarina. Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Maybe, just maybe, the Lookouts will finally be released on CD unlikely. THE compilation? I'm not following Larry on twitter, am I missing something? Even though it's unlikely, the Lookouts on CD, that would be so great! Even more so if that meant better quality songs. I never heard of "the compilation", I wonder what it is about?

Rage & Love. Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Very intrigued as to what it's about. Can't wait!
Tubbie Head Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Now that sure makes sense. Good thought! Or just releasing something from Billie, possibly. I mean, Green Day is simply too big to release a record on something off Larry's. Don't other big bands release records with a small label? It would be cool, if GD really want to do something underground like that for the next album... It would be fine for the Tubbies too
Florence Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 He also wrote "More will be revealed. Just be patient." in the comments This is so exciting!! Offer he cannot refuse from Billie Joe?! My moneys on sex, Billie Joe offered him sex. Even the most hetrosexual of men could not refuse such an offer
jamesobxfan2296 Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I'm wondering if this will have to do with the new Green Day album. I sure hope so.
pisquano Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Offer he cannot refuse from Billie Joe?! My moneys on sex, Billie Joe offered him sex. Even the most hetrosexual of men could not refuse such an offer Lol You're my hero
Heather. Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 My first reaction was "Side project," but then I thought "Would that really bring Larry Livermore back into the business?" I mean, yes, it's exciting, but producing a Tubbies album, though a great honor, might not be something he feels he needs to do. IDK... side project doesn't scream "offer I can't refuse"...
Dylan. Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 My guess: Larry Livermore will be producing Green Day's new album. Reality: Dylan Starks is most likely a fucking moron.
WestboundSign! Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Larry producing Green Day's new album would be.. wow.. epic? But I don't think it's likely or something..
ash.loves.gd Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I just want to know what it is, so I can determine if my over-analyses and over-excitement upon reading his tweet are justified. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be awesome and I can't wait.
Sanity Loan Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I initially thought he would help rerecord 1039 and Kerplunk. That would be awesome
Bastard of 1967 Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I initially thought he would help rerecord 1039 and Kerplunk. That would be awesome Would also be epic -- especially since he produced the originals.
desertrose Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Exciting news, can't wait to find out more!
