I just don't get it because clearly he made it through security and everything without anyone saying something to him since he got on the plane without any problems, so it wasn't a safety concern. Not to mention he's sitting down the whole time, so they can't see anything away. The amount or publicity this is getting is ridiculous though.

Why are people saying his pants aren't usually very saggy? He wears the type of pants that are tight but gradually sag down over time........by the end of every Green Day show his arse is almost hanging out . How has anyone failed to notice this?

He must've shown some crack when he reached up with his luggage.

What I don't get is how it said the plane was ready to go, they were telling people to turn their phones off etc, but billie was still 'trying to get to his seat'. That doesn't add up. But then the woman whose word everyone is taking for this didn't even know it was billie till later, so.

I also think it's pretty funny and I think most people would have reacted the same way as Billie, I know I would have!

They talked about this on the radio today, I find it really funny that there's so much about it

I think this is utterly ridiculous. It's not like it's a health and safety risk because his pants are low, and I doubt any of the other passengers even cared.

I mean fuck sake, I flew in my pjamas and nothing was said!

I guess he was still putting his luggage in the overhead thingy, or something like that.

I wonder who Billie travelled with....it's a funny story though;-)) Billie should always wear saggy pants!

Just that Billie was kicked off the plane for his pants being too low, then they played Good Riddance, afterwards they just said that the airline apolgised and he was allowed to fly again. The first time I hear Green Day mentioned in ages and it's for this.

oh haha nice! good riddance is so fitting. i wonder if they would have appologized so much if the whole thing wasnt giving them so much bad press

Wait-- this actually happened?

Billie's probably cringing at the fact that because of this he landed himself on a bunch of gossip websites. This whole thing is rediculous, annnddd extremely funny.... :D

I am still laughing about it.. thats hilarious... :good: Thats my Billie XD

But really why do the comments have to be so mean? Like relax people...

I bet they're all getting a good laugh over the amount of publicity this got. Imagine turning on the news or reading a paper and seeing people talk about your pants and the havoc they cause. Tbh I blame this entire thing on Billie's absence of an ass, the jeans had nothing else to do but sag.

LOL just saw this on the top Yahoo news stories

Oh, and my sister posted this on her facebook without me telling her what happened. It's official; this has gotten big

Isn't Southwest the same airline that kicked off a girl for having a really nice rack?

One thing I don't think people understand is that it really isn't dress that is distracting, but making a big deal over it is distracting. Schools don't understand that with dress codes for students, and apparently airlines don't understand that for their customers either.

The last time I flew on a plane there were some incredibly unappealing people on it - and I don't remember what they were wearing! If you're not appealing to look at, there's no way you can dress to fix that. If you are appealing to look at, it's hard to dress in a way that's going to fuck that up. Most people, are of course, neutral, somewhere in between.

On another point - getting kicked off a plane is the least of his worries, I can't imagine how often he flies and gets fans bothering him the whole goddamn flight.

Seriously, this has blown up beyond being out-of-proportion. Don't the news companies have better things to do than worry about than that?

Lol its on people.com!

omg it's on http://www.msn.com that's hilarious

The people commenting on it on there all seem to think he was walking around in baggy pants with his belt round his knees and his whole underwear exposed like a rapper . They have no idea who he is lol.

ahahah that's so funny

lmaooo this is soo stupid but hilarious at the same time

when i heard about this xD

but seriously theres better things to worry about on a plane rather than somebody's saggy pants

Honestly, I didn't thougt this would make a buzz.

When I saw it I was "Haha. BUHAHAHA. Poor Billie. Kicked off of the plane like any high school boy gets kicked off the class."

And then the buzz...seriously, all that is both ridiculous and hilarious. At the same time.

I think Billie was right to react like that. After all, it wouldn't be Billie Joe Armstrong if his pants wouldn't sag too low... the all fact is funny as hell.
