whatsup? Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Can I just say did anyone see lil' Wayne's pants at the VMA's?!?! Now something should of been done about THAT. If he can have his pants to his knees on live television than who gives a fuck if Billie's are a little saggy http://www.google.co...:43&tx=31&ty=42 Exactly what I thought... Otherwise, I think his reaction was completely normal. Meet the stupid expectations .... Billie Joe wouldn't be Billie Joe , if he would have done this. But .... at all, just imagine the situation : you trying to put your bag on the shelf, and the flight attendant ask you for such shit to, while everyone watching at you ( and at you're too low pants ). And then you say - "Oh sorry, of course, has already pulled up my pants. It will be good?" :whaa: And yet what is the correct response is, when an adult person want to customize their dressing style to another person , even if she made it from obligation.??!!(that's stupidity) Not can do such a thing with anyone, it's degrading! When Billie Joe was arrested for drunk driving , he was cooperating fully, because he knew that he made a mistake ..,but right now?! I doubt that Billie Joe's pants caused public indecency. . (now that all young people's pants hanging on his knees ). Just feel the need to say that I just read this as 'Billie Joe Armstrong kicks pants off on plane.' now there's a headline XD Oh yes.....so got sence at least.
AwesomeAsFudge Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 http://thesop.org/story/20110903/green-day-singer-billie-joe-armstrong-booted-off-flight-over-saggy-pants.html look at what they had written !! =O " Billie Jo Armstrong is 39, it`s time for him to tighten his belt and wipe off the mascara." and "This isn`t a case of having the freedom to dress however you want to in public. Obviously the line has to be drawn somewhere, no passenger would want to sit next to a guy wearing nothing but a Speedo. This is a matter of civility and manners -- nobody wants to see your dirty drawers Mr. Armstrong." this really pissing me off . obviously who wrote it have no idea about billie
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 My God, that article is stupid. Besides learning a bit more about Billie before slaying him in an article, the writer also needs to learn which apostrophe/accent to use, this one ' instead of this one `. And either learn how to spell or learn how to use the right words, considering Billie "relied" to the flight attendant. And be consistent in his spelling of Billie's name. It was posted at 10:39 EST though
ConfirmPassword Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 http://thesop.org/st...aggy-pants.html look at what they had written !! Armstrong." this really pissing me off . obviously who wrote it have no idea about billie Sorry but that article made me laugh It so stupid! "Armstrong is just another rock star who thinks the rules don`t apply to him." It has nothing to do about Billie don't think the rules apply to him, but it's just a stupid rule that shouldn't apply to anyone, if you know what I mean Haha I just can't take that shit seriously
whatsup? Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 http://thesop.org/st...aggy-pants.html Mr.Robert Paul Reyes! Good thing that there is who follow every stupid rules, mindless . If this doesn't happen, Billie Joe wouldn't have written his famous song - you know - "Don't wanna be an American idiot" ... (yep, and I have spelling your name at least....)
Lindsay Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I don't get why having your pants sagging is a big deal on a plane anyways... I mean, don't people SIT DOWN on planes? I think It'd be different if it was like, public transportation or something.. but a plane? Really?
Margo 39 smooth Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Oh yeah, that was so stupid, a pause every three seconds, I recorded the whole thing, watching it again I noticed they missed the censor on fuck once. omg ya it was so dumb. Im surprised they actually caught most of the words haha
blueboy Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Noodles from Offspring tweeting about: http://twitter.com/#!/offspring/status/110014284603469824
GreenRanger Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 In the GDA article about this, every time I read the word "pants" it hits my eyes right, hits my brain right, but past that all I see is "balls." Is it me or did Andres use the word "saggy" a lot? Yep. Think that's what it was...
IscoredWaddlesgoals Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 This is getting more UK press than when he did Broadway: http://xrrf.blogspot.com/2011/09/darkness-at-3am-billie-joe-shows-his.html?m=1
Hermione Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 This is still cracking me up. I think Billie was totally in the right though, his first response was perfectly reasonable so I can see why he got annoyed and stood his ground when they reacted to that by threatening to throw him off the plane. Well worth getting a later flight to not have to back down over something so ridiculous. so I had a look though the first page or so and didn't see this: http://au.news.yahoo...ght-over-pants/ seems a bit crazy tbh... lol LOL at some of the comments Is Billy Joe Anderson 39 or 9. It's about time he started acting like a man, and dressed himself properly. http://thesop.org/st...aggy-pants.html look at what they had written !! Armstrong." this really pissing me off . obviously who wrote it have no idea about billie Hahaha pathetic! Seems like a lot of people have chips on their shoulders........if this had happened to someone who isn't a celebrity I highly doubt they would've been on the airline's side.
LauraG Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I think Billie’s reaction is pretty understandable, I would have done the same. Like some said before, now I’ve got much more respect for that man. Standing for what you believe is right.
ganis Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMwhl4IrPNc what I've been thinking about ever since I read the tweet.. the whole thing is ridiculus, there must be people who has much more shagged pants than Billie...
Doris The Spider Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I never thought he wore this pants THAT low so this makes no sense.
blitzkriegdeb Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I never thought he wore this pants THAT low so this makes no sense. This. It's not like he wears them down to his knees or some shit. This whole situation is so stupid.
GreenRanger Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 http://thesop.org/st...aggy-pants.html look at what they had written !! =O So...basically...this guy is angry because...Billie Joe isn't him? Yknow, a bitter old man who's resigned himself to all the stereotypes of someone over 40 and thinks little of everyone who hasn't? And for the record... "Nobody wants to see your dirty drawers Mr. Armstrong." Is a a blatantly FALSE statement. Can't you get fired for that?
Cori Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Ha ha. This one of Yahoo's top stories. That's hilarious. Seriously, though, getting kicked off a plane for where your pants are? At least he had pants on... Billie Joe Armstrong: 39 and still more punk than you.
TheSaltOfTheEarth Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I've never actually seen a picture of him with his pants overly saggy... I'm wondering just how low his pants actually were to attract this kind of attention
ChelseaWhatsername Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Aside from the ignorant comments, the fact that this is getting so much attention is hilarious in itself I've never seen so much publicity over anyone from Green Day, at least not with stuff like this. But really, Billie had a point in saying they had better things to do, and I think this problem is all over now, so the news should just leave it alone. He took another flight and the airlines apologized. At least he's not suing them like any other money-hungry bastard
DoodleBob Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I think it's ridiculous, celeberity or not, to be kicked off a flight for "saggin'" pants. If Billie's butt cheeks were showing (Which we are no virgin too, anyway) or Billie's balls were hanging out, I uderstand, but it shouldn't have been a problem. You're sitting down for most of the time on an airplane anyway, so I don't see why low pants would really matter, unless they were REALLY low, which I doubt they were that low. Oh, and my mom saw an online article having to do with this, and she said she started cracking up. Airlines need to get their priorities straight.
fadi_7 Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I think it's crazy, BUT when they are threatening to throw you off the plane, just pull your pants up. What's the big deal? It's not like they said to do 100 push ups and stand on your head. that's why he is Billie Joe , he does what ever he wants loli think that plane was for justin beiber that's why they didn't want Billie in it
