A GDC member called Lauren went to a soundcheck during the last tour wearing a tie dye shirt and when she spoke to Tre he made fun of it as a joke. Where did you hear he hates tie dye? Because it must've come from that I haven't been on in so long that people refer to me as 'my friend' and 'a gdc member called Lauren' :-(

They're pretty open and honest about their drug use but I would imagine like most parents they don't want their kids to use drugs. I would imagine the drug talk with your kid is kind of difficult when you're talking about your own drug use on a fairly regular basis.

You know, I don't think it has. When they get asked if they'd like to play a whole album from start to finish live Billie always says he'd love to play Kerplunk like that (although they never have so ), and Billie's described American Idiot as "kind of a life's work", but I can't remember them ever actually being asked that. Good question!
