I really don't think I need to spell this out but oh well. As with the old twitter threads, this thread is to discuss the band's tweets. That is, the content of the tweets, and maybe also patterns in their tweets, or things like the location from where they tweeted. It is NOT for lamenting a lack of tweets, or speculation as to when the band will tweet, or why they aren't tweeting. Along with that, it's not for pointless posts such as 'yay he tweeted!' or 'finally he tweets' or anything link that, either. We want to encourage proper, thoughtful discussion, not the same mindless waffle that we got in the previous twitter threads. With that, when there's a specific thread made about the content of certain tweets, such as @GreenDay and @BJAofficial tweeting about the secret show, the discussion should be kept to that one thread, otherwise it's confusing to have two threads discussing exactly the same thing. Of course this is where we're supposed to talk about what the band has tweeted, but when there's already obviously another discussion going on about the same thing, do we really need to be told to keep it all in one place?

So grateful. I "unfollowed" @GreenDay for a bit there, I was just getting so mindfucked by all the links to things I didn't care about. I just let GDC filter anything important for me But now that they've slowed down, I'm a follower again.

Like basically anything with the word "Billie Joe Armstrong" or "Green Day" was instantly news for awhile:P Like you, I am following them now, but I have to admit, I haven't checked the website in a week. I rely on GDA for new mostly:)
