I've been playing Private Ale on my guitar so much lately, I think it would be so great to hear live. We heard them play it at the soundcheck in Manchester and it sounded amazing!! I am not biased

Here's a list of how many times the songs were played so we know if they should be played more often.

That was very interesting. Thanks!

I know I'm the only one who thinks it a bit strange that, for a tour promoting their new album, they played it less than an album they went on tour for 5 years previously. Having said that, I think American Eulogy should've been played more often, and I hope they decide to bring it back for their next tour.

I've never been to any of their concerts but I'd like to hear:

Ha Ha You're Dead

When It's Time

Cigarettes and Valentines

Like A Rat Does Cheese

Waiting

Going To Pasalacqua should be part of every show! :whistle

Also, Armatage Shanks would be killer! :eyebrows:

Some older stuff I think, it'd be cool. :)

86, Misery, Stuart and the Ave, Christie Road (cause I've heard that's a killer live), J.A.R, and I would love if they sung Ha Ha You're Dead, that would be awesome :)

But yeah, older stuff boys, c'mon! :woot:

Agreed on both points. Sometimes I think it's partly because they clearly love playing a lot of AI songs so much, like Billie seems to REALLY love doing St Jimmy and JOS for example. I wouldn't have minded seeing those replaced by Christian's Inferno and American Eulogy but I can't really imagine him wanting to give them up. Plus they're not likely to stop playing hugely popular songs like American Idiot and BOBD. They're gonna have to be ruthless and sacrifice some of them!

Poor, poor Warning nearing the bottom of the list. I love that album so much, it's a shame how underrated that album is! I honestly think that's the only album where I LOVE every single song. What Green Day needs to do is go, "Ok. We're playing the album Warning straight through, whether you like it or not!" I would give them props for that!

Scattered!!!! And Armatage Shanks<3

Yeah I agree. And at least for the South American Tour (and I think some parts of Asia as well), they played a lot from AI because they haven't done a gig for like 12 years, so it was kind of new to everybody.

Whatsername and Pulling Teeth.

Wait a minute! They've played a song from Shenanigans??? When??? Well, I guess it's better than never... I love that album so much!

By the way, I'm glad Dookie is on the top!

I just remembered that once, someone requested Governator, and Mike said he didn't remember the lyrics.

I would love to hear Desensitized live.

I hate that bands do that, put out a B-side album and never play any songs. What's the point? Especially when Shenanigans is an excellent album.

I'd like to hear them play more of their singles like Stuck With Me, Walking Contradiction, Warning, as well as songs like Armatage Shanks, Babs Uvula, Platypus, Reject, Words I Might've Ate, and 1,000 Hours.

On a kind of related note, I was on setlist.fm today looking at the songs Blink 182 has been playing for the tour they're currently on and they play the same set list every single show. How fucking boring! Especially when most of it is their new junk.

I would be up for a Green Day week-long festival where they just play every song over five days. each setlist could be a combination of hits and rarites, but end with a bang every time. I got this idea while playing Green Day Rock Band, because on there I would make setlists and no matter what song was last, it worked. Green Day should make an all new setlist. and do a big festival. I'd like to hear The saints are coming, ha ha you're dead, more from warning, more from nimrod....oh what the heck. LIke i said, EVERY SONG. GREEN DAY FESTIVAL.

There are so many! Anytime they play something old is fantastic, but I'd love to see more of/played period:

I Was There - My absolute favorite 39/smooth song, and I wish there was a better quality video from the Costa Rica show!!!

Disappearing Boy - They used to play it a bit back in the '90s, and I do love the recording from Uniondale in '94

Road to Acceptance - It's just a fantastic song.

Rest - I looove this song, and like...well...all of their songs, haha, it's so relatable, and it just speaks well with the incredibly slow tone. :)

Why Do You Want Him? - Fuckin' love the guitar solo.

The One I Want - Just fantastic.

2000 Light Years Away - SO GLAD THIS WAS ON AWESOME AS FUCK.

I'd say Christie Road... But the fact that it's so rarely played makes it so much more special.

One of My Lies - So damn catchy, and I love it.

Chump - If they played this and then transitioned into Longview, I'd be so excited! haha I just love Chump. It kicks so much ass.

Emenius Sleepus - It's just fun!

In the End - Kicks ass, and I looove the lyrics!

Brat - It's so fuckin' catchy, and the lyrics are so funny and so dark. I love it.

Panic Song - The bridge between Brain Stew and Jaded is not nearly the same as playing the song. The lyrics are good, too--give the song some more love, Green Day! haha (I think eeeveryone wants to see this one live.)

Walking Contradiction - Who doesn't love this song...?!

The Grouch - Not only is it fun to sing, really damn catchy, and hilarious, it's got some great power!

Platypus - Need I say more?

UPTIGHT - The emphasis says it alllllll!

Jinx / Haushinka - So much fun. The lyrics are great, the drums and guitar are awesome, and I love the transition between the two.

Reject - The lyrics pop into my head almost every day. So extremely relatable.

Anything from Warning, really. But my personal favorites are Church on Sunday, Misery, Hold On, Jackass--aw, hell. All, of 'em. XD

Maria - Who doesn't love it?

Poprocks and Coke - I think this song is often forgotten, and the lyrics are so fantastic and true.

Ha Ha You're Dead - I fuckin' love this song, and I wish they played at least this from Shenanigans.

Extraordinary Girl - I don't really care for it being acoustic. It's not baaad--obviously--, but the full band version is so much better.

HOMECOMING - Emphasis says it all.

Whatsername - Full band version. I don't think the power and message of the song gets through far enough being acoustic.

Too Much Too Soon - I just think this would be a TON of fun to hear live!!!

Peacemaker, Restless Heart Syndrome, Horseshoes and Handgrenades - Need I say more? lol

Hearts Collide - I just love the fact that this pure love song is put into surf rock mode. It's so fantastic.

When It's Time - FULL BAND. Now, don't get me wrong, the acoustic version that Billie does is absolutely amazing, but the studio version is so good. It's sad, but also upbeat, and I just love all the instrumentation in the song.

Sorry for the redudancy. Obviously, all of Green Day's songs are great, and I love them all... But those are just some of my favorites. :) ...and I don't post a lot, so... haha But I'm on here all the time!

Any other???:lol: I'm kidding, your list is great!

I would add another though, No One Knows. I could literally die if they play it live!
