Songs that should be played more live.

I think Green Day should do a concert of all the songs they haven't played live. I wonder if Tre knows all the songs to 1,039/smoothed out happy hours.

He knows at least most of them, I made a collection of recent live versions of songs of that album, and there were quite a few missing.

They played that when I went to see them, except a key higher than it is on the album. Wow, it was absolutely fantastic. Never appreciated the song very much until I heard it live like that. It sounded amazing a key higher.

Where and when was it? I'd like to find a video of that.

There's a lot of song i would love for them to play more live but i love hearing anything they do. (so don't take what i say as me complaining about their usual sorta set). ,I feel really lucky that i saw them do "At The Library", but it think it should be played more, and one i dont think anyone has mentioned (Not 100% sure) is Green Day, would love to hear that, also its been said already by a couple of people here but i agree with "Whatsername", it very underrated in my opinion, i would also love to hear, "Worry Rock" , "Westbound sign" , "Who Wrote Holden Caulfield" , "Deadbeat Holiday". There the first 4 i though of but there's loads that i think they should do.

WWHC, The Judge's Daughter (IK they played it this tour, but in the version I heard, BJ screwed up the lyrics pretty well), Dry Ice, No Pride, F.O.D, and Coming Clean.

Sheffield Arena, 2009. Here's one:

:)

Thanks! It's awesome.

What show did they play The Judge's Daughter at? I want to hear him fuck up the lyrics.

Speaking of Warning, the Warning song I'd really wanna see them play live more often is Blood Sex And Booze, since it's one of my all time favourites. I was very lucky to see FBHT do it live and it was just the best. I'd be well pleased if Green Day put it on their setlist.

Jackass would be pretty good too. Or Misery :woot:, I reckon they could pull that off now with all the extra muscians.

Oh and I've just thought HORSESHOES AND HANDGRENADES! They seriously need to play it. Preferably at every show.

I just thought of some I really like, those songs BJ left as audio messages on greenday.com

Why Does It Always Rain On Me?, Things I Heard Today, and Minnesota Girl

I thought about mentioning those, but didn't. Don't forget What About Today.

You know what I'd really love to hear them play again? You Can't Fool Me. They played it twice when before 39/Smooth even came out, and then never again. It's my favorite of their unreleased songs.

He's actually played Minnesota Girl a couple of times, when they've played in Minnesota. Anyone who lives there has a very good chance of seeing it, doubt there's much chance of them doing it anywhere else though haha

If they play Homecoming than Billie should take his shirt off again :eyebrows:

THIS

I think that they should play She's a rebel more (it's one of my favorite song from AI)

and also The Grouch, Who wrote Holden Caulfield, One for the razorbacks, At the library, Walking Contradiction, HaHa You're Dead...

ahh I want to hear all their songs live... impossible but it would be awesome

Why Does It Always Rain On Me is a cover (from the band Travis). :)

Doesn't mean they can't play it, but I just thought I'd say it.

I really like Minnesota Girl

DEADBEAT HOLIDAY.

And Homecoming. :)

Agree!!!! I also would like to hear misery, ha ha youre dead, the grouch, pulling teeth, at the library, paper lanterns, one of my lies, turnout, having a blast, chump, stuck with me, scattered, worry rock, reject, fashion victim, Castaway, desensitized, sick of me

I loved when they did we are the champions during the AI concert, and I was upset when they didn't play it for the 21st cbd tour

Gotta say, loving all the love for Homecoming on here! Obviously adding my name to that list (an absolute favourite of mine!) :D

I know there's more, but I just wanted to say this while I compile a list.

(and make sure the songs I'm thinking off haven't actually been played live more than I think they have)

After that last tour, I'm pretty damn happy with Green Day's setlists, but I'd love to hear Give Me Novacaine, or as alot of people have said, Homecoming. Even One Of My Lies. Or Prosthetic Head. Redundant...

Not necessarily even old songs. Just, non-singles. I'm aware Redundant was a single, but... y'know, it doesn't get played too often.

I also firmly believe Cigarettes and Valentines should become a staple at live shows.

I'd love to hear Extraordinary Girl and Only Of You ( they played it on the last show from the tour). And also Poprocks & Coke and Jinx. And today just came to my mind an acoustic Having A Blast, I'd really love to hear that, I don't know why... :shy:

I agree that they should play a few B-sides.. I really like Scumbag a lot.

They played it at the soundcheck for the Chula Vista show. Those of us who'd gathered near a side gate to hear the whole thing almost died when we figured out what it was. :D

Really? Wow, how cool. I believe you.. :D
